Browsing your favorite forums, you may have likely come across a fellow member with a signature that goes something like: “Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk”. This built-in signature feature is completely customizable, but defaulted to a message similar to the one above. It was and still is an effective way to get the word out about Tapatalk, but as our service and apps get more established, we will be retiring this feature in the near future.
For forum owners, there is no extra update or configuration to do to remove this signature. The “sent from…” signature feature will be removed from all upcoming updates to our iOS and Android apps. The removal of this feature will not impact native forum system signature options when viewing a forum through a desktop browser. Stay tuned to change-logs published in the iTunes App Store and Google Play for this update to take effect.
