[TUTORIAL] Apps for a Smarter NUBIA

Hello guys! I've done some research around the web about some apps that can solve part of the problems of our great phones ( Z5S/ Z5Smini ).
As you probably know the user experience of our phones isn't so good, due to lack of software and hardware optimization.
Installing the MIUI, you will have a great user experience improvement, but even with the stock ROM is possible to use these little tricks to make you smartphone smarter!


BATTERY OPTIMIZATION: "BATTERY GURU" (Free App)
As we know our Z5S/Z5S mini have a Snapdragon Processor, this producer has created for our smarpthone an app called "Battery Guru".
This app after a period of learning process will increase the battery life of our smartphones even of about 30-40%.
Usually my Z5S died at 18:00 p.m. but after that i've installed this app my smartphone arrives to 11 p.m. with sinchronization enabled and without renounce to anything.
Most interesting of all is that this app is completely automatic so you must configure only a couple of settings.

CPU OPTIMIZATION: "Multicore CPU Control Free" aka CPU Performance Control Free (Free app)
Another interesting app to optimize battery and cpu performance is "Multicore CPU Control Free", i use this app to create different profiles to enable on boot.
Usually dual-core CPU performance is more then adequate to most of the operations, so my personal suggestion is to create some different profiles.
Create a Dual-core profile with Governor: On-demand and enable it on boot.
Then create other profiles to satisfy your needs and enable these manually if necessary ex. a Quad-core gaming profile.
About Governor i suggest you to use on-demand (is more power consumption balanced then other settings).

Next Apps try to solve in smarter and cool ways the hardware problems of our devices.

In my situation hardware buttons of my Z5S seems to be really fragile, when pressed make some noise and probably, is easy to imagine, that the chrome finish will came off in the future. This is my solution about these problems

DOUBLE TAP TO LOCK: Nova Launcher Prime (Paid app) or Apex Launcher (Free) or Inspire Launcher (Free), Screen Off (icillin) (Free)

To enable this feature i use Nova Launcher Prime, however if you don't want to pay, you can enable this trick using free alternative launchers.
All these launchers will give you a boost in performance and better RAM management and even a better user experience. Take a look to Inspire Launcher is really interesting!
Download Screen Off from the Playstore, install and enable it, then go to the settings of the launcher that you have choosen and go to Gesture, select Double tap and add to this gesture the app Screen off. Save the settings and is done! Now to lock your device you just need only a double tap in your homescreen! (just like LG G2 or HTC M8)

Next tricks work in symbiosis, so to use these without problems you need to install these 2 apps together.

PROXIMITY SENSOR TO UNLOCK: Automaton Locker (Free for 31 days)
This is the smarter and easy way to turn on or unlock the screen of your device without touch it.
Install Automaton locker and configure it, my suggested settings are:
Basic Panel:
-check Startup
-Sensor Mode > Flip Cover Mode > Proximity
-Sensor Function > Unlock Only
-Split 2nd > None
-Sensor Sensitivity > Low
-check Show App notification
-check No call interference
-check Landscape disable
-Hold duration> 5 seconds
-Unlock Screen Timeout> 3 seconds
-check remove lockscreen
-advanced unlock> Cpu Waking
-check screen on vibration

Advanced panel
-check only lockscreen

Now you must only leave your hand for 2 seconds near the proximity sensor to turn on the screen of our Z5s/Z5s mini (isn't needed to touch the phone).
It will work even in your pocket, so when you take the phone out of the pocket the screen will automatically turn on!

Other settings must be unchecked or leaved as default, however you can try other settings, but these are the best for my needs and to use together with the next app.

BYPASS LED NOTIFICATION PROBLEM WITH A NEW LOCKSCREEN:
Dynamic Notifications Premium (Paid APP)

This is an app that usually work together with your default lockscreen but the paid version give you the possibility to use it like stand alone lockscreen.
First of all i suggest you to eliminate default lockscreen go to Developer options and check the option that will make you access directly to system (so the default lockscreen will not be loaded in memory)

Then install Dynamic Notifications Premium:
-check and modify timout to your needs (i suggest 10 seconds)
-check Turn off Screen
-Personalize you lockscreen as you wish
-Repeat notifications as you wish (i suggest 2 minutes)
-check use as Lockscreen (personalize as you wish)
-Leave disabled Automatic Turn on or it will go in conflict with Automaton Locker
-Night mode (as you wish)
-brightness (i suggest 10%)
-check block home key

Other options can be personalized as you wish

With MIUI, when i restart the phone, i usually lost Administrator privilages and accessibility settings so probably you must give them again at every restart. Another suggestion is to control that the apps will be locked in memory or can be killed randomly.
Usually even with all this apps in background i've near 1200Mb of free RAM!
