TouchWiz es una interfaz táctil desarrollada por Samsung con sus socios, con una interfaz táctil de usuario completa. A veces es confundido con un sistema operativo, pero no lo es. TouchWiz es utilizado internamente por Samsung.

NOTE: This kernel DOES NOT SUPPORT exFAT formatted 64 GB SDCards!
Option 1: format your sdcard with Fat32 instead of exFat (easiest solution)
Option 2: format it to NTFS, then use NTFSMount from Play Store to access your 64GB SDCard.

(This is due to LACK OF SOURCE CODE from Samsung/Microsoft for exFAT. Samsung licensed Microsoft's CLOSED SOURCE exFAT implementation. But Samsung under agreement with Microsoft DOES NOT release the source code and therefore we CANNOT build any support for exFAT formatted 64 GB SDCards )

Since there are no sources for 4.3 kernels yet I decided to try out which kernels actually do work on 4.3
I found that the i9505 (jfltexx) CM 10.1 kernel works combined with the ramdisk of the 4.3 stock kernel

It does boot and everything seems to be working. except there are some graphical issues. and the scores vary way to much.
Since its a i9505 kernel and not i9505g it scores around the 20k in antutu. (or atleast I think that is the case)

I tested a kernel with the i9505g source and it boots for 50%, the blue led goes on after the i9505 logo but you only get black screen. meaning that touchwiz based kernels are not supported. only aosp kernels are supported

To test different aosp branches I also chose to make a 4.3 build of KT Kernel (3.4.51) so you can see if there are any differences in that.
Both have the graphical issue but maybe the battery life is much better with one of them instead of the 4.3 kernel. I haven't tested them thoroughly though. Check attachments for downloads.



Final Conclusion
- TW Kernels do not work anymore
- AOSP 4.2.2 Kernels work (partially) with appropriate ramdisk
- Small graphical issues occur
- Battery Life is unknown so far



How to convert 4.2.2 ramdisk to 4.3 ramdisk
1. Extract dsixda's android kitchen on your harddrive
2. Create a folder called WORKING_FOLDER, in that folder place the 4.2.2 kernel that you want to convert.
3. Open the kitchen (./menu) and enter: 0, 12, w (this will extract the kernel)
4. Now look in BOOT-EXTRACTED, and replace (remove folder) the boot.img-ramdisk folder with the one attached to this post
5. In the kitchen enter: b, to build the 4.2.2 kernel with the 4.3 ramdisk.


Flashing the kernel
1. Go to the WORKING_DIRECTORY and open a terminal
2. Enter: adb push boot.img /sdcard/boot.img
3. Enter: adb -d shell su -c 'dd if=/sdcard/boot.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p20'
4. Enter: adb reboot

Sin duda el programa por excelencia de las tarjetas graficas. El mejor para apreciar el poder de nuestros graficos en juegos. Podreis pasar por este enlace y dejar vuestras marcas. Aunque es un hilo de Nexus 4, hay un ranking general para todos los modelos de todos los terminales. Aviso, no os decepcioneis con las marcas, puesto que tenemos la misma grafica que Nexus 4 ( Adreno 320) y aun no tenemos kernel que podamos configurar en profundidad como en Nexus y sobre stock nos supera la cantidad ingente de rom custom que tiene Nexus.

No he añadido las Kernel del Google Edition, pero si lo creeis conveniente puedo añadirlas en los post. No obstante esta todo un poco verde aunque hay movimiento tanto aqui como en XDA y demas sites de la comunidad.

Edito se me ha pasado por alto el contador de flasheos. Ahora trasteando en el pc he visto las notas del note he visto la herramienta triangle Away. Obviamente lo editaré en el primer post. Porque antes de nada hay que dejar a 0 el contador. Salvo aquellos usuarios que quieran hacer el flasheo sin haber instalado custom y deseen tener un firmware libre de las app de las operadoras.
