[ROM 1.32] Informe de incidencias a Onda

Hola chavales. Acabo de escribir un correo a onda, con todas las incidencias que he detectado en mi v972 para a ver si así las van solucionando y nos hacen caso.

Lo he escrito a través de esta página: onda-tablet.com/contacts lo que no sé es si me contestarán. Si se os ocurre a vosotros otra página donde mandar todas estas incidencias comentadlo.

En la web onda.cn no he encontrado ningún formulario de contacto, así que por eso lo he mandado a esta. Deciros que también he apoyado el desarrollo de CyanogenMod a través de hilo correspondiente, así que uniros que cuántos más seamos, más probable será que nos aprueben el desarrollo para nuestra tablet.

Os dejo el texto que les he puesto a los de onda:

Hi, Onda company. I bought an Onda v972 recently and I updated the firmware to 1.32 and I want to ask you about the correction of the following firmware issues:

A. Lag issues:

1.- Web browsing lag. Frecuently lag on the web browser. Make the tablet unusable and unstable. It keeps freezed frecuently, and the scrolling is very lagged. HORRIBLE. I use stock browser, dolphin, chrome, firefox...

1.- I show some lag when I scroll thorough home/applications/widgets screens. A lot of lag while scrolling over widgets screens first time.

2.- I show lag when I push the recent apps button (bottom left), and i scroll over the recently opened apps, or when I swipe right/left over one to close it.

3.- When I push the icon of some apps to open it, someones keeps bright the icon, but it loads slowly, and other ones, keeps on black sreen freezed on load. It can be improved the hard disk load speed?

B. Performance questions:

1.- I've show the cpu is working on 1.0 Ghz. When I buy the tablet it show everywhere it runs on 1.5 Ghz. Why? Can it runs on 1.5 Ghz 4 cores?

2.- Are you sure you are taking full advantage of 4 cores of tablet? Freezed issues are common of a single core system. This is quad core, sure?

3.- Are you sure you are taking full advantage of 2 GB RAM?

4.- Has AllWinner company released drivers and sdk for a31 propertly to take advantage of hardware? Or where is the problem to make a smooth, stable rom?

5.- Remember you can make free the documentation and sdks to take advantages of community helpers.

C. Drawing issues:

1.- When the tablet is suspended and I push the on/off button to unlock it, on bottom right it appears my network name (I suppose reconnecting), and on bottom left keeps black about 10-20 seconds and finally appears the buttons back, home, recentApps, etc. During this time the screen is freezed and can't use the tablet.

2.- When I open an application it shows an animation. I show clearly that the animation is slow. On android documentation I've read that all animations on Jelly Bean are showed on 60 fps. The 2D animations on this tablet aren't on 60 fps. I can't show the same smooth animations like on my Samsung Galaxy S3 (android 4.1.1, quad core, 1 Gb RAM), and this tablet (android 4.1.1, quad core, 2 GB RAM).

D. Rotation issues:

1.- When the tablet is suspended and I push the on/off button to unlock it while the tablet is in vertical position, the screen gets ready on horizontal and it tries to rotate to vertical, but is very slow and it freezed during 10 seconds.
2.- When I work on vertical position it has a tendency to rotate to horizontal.
3.- When I lock the screen rotation it's always locked to horizontal (there is no possibility to lock on vertical).

E. Connection Issues:

1.- Wifi. Speed is acceptable, but it can be improved. But reachability is bad. Must be a short distance between router and tablet to get good connection.

2.- Wifi Direct doesn't work with my Galaxy S3. I can't transfer files between both devices.

F. Battery life

1.- Battery life with a normal use of the tablet, could reach 6 hours, but no 8 or 10 hours like on the specs that Onda shows on the store.

2.- I've noticed that the screen is wasting more than 80% of the energy, and the tablet suspended about the 30%. Can you improve this?

G. Compatibility issues:

1.- When I find on Google Play some applications, it shows me they are no compatible with my device. For example: Google Chrome.

2.- I have installed google chrome from external apk, but when I web browse with it, it is VERY LAGGY, totally unusable. Why? On my galaxy S3 it's very smooth.

If you are already working on it, I encourage to you to solve the problems, and I understand that is a hard work, but is sad to show a 200 € tablet working worst than a 90 € one.

Conclusion: great hardware, poor software. It needs a lot of work.

Note: release sdk and drivers if we can help you to develop some parts. Never leave the development of this tablet, it's a great one but, needs work in terms of software.

We can get a tablet working like an iPad 4 !

Yo no se si te escucharan o no, lo que si se es que los chino se han pegao el fieston de fin de año con nuestro dinero y santa rita, lo que se da no se quita. Y yo con el pisapapeles cogiendo polvo.

Acabo de enviar el mismo correo a esta dirección y me ha llegado el típico correo que dice "Delivery Status Notification (Failure)" como si la dirección de correo no existiera, sabes si hay alguna otra manera de contactar con estos de Onda?
