[ CONSULTA ] Textos de un apk?

Buenas a todos llevo unas semanas dándole vueltas a juegos y apk que no contienen sus textos en los archivos xml sean strings o arrays o los que fuere pero no están hay y por mas que he decompilado obtenido el código fuente extraído buscado con fileseek dentro de cada archivo a ver si contenían los textos no están hay... y mi pregunta es alguien puede decirme donde demonios se guardan cuando no están en el strings.xml o bien el strings contiene solo 3 o 4 lineas y lógicamente falta todo el texto de la app juego o lo que fuese?

Por lo pronto, a "descompilar", ¿te refieres a extraer el codigo Java o a descomprimir el archivo apk y ver lo que tiene dentro?

Lo mas normal es que esos textos esten en el propio codigo fuente que, normalmente, se encuentra ofuscado. Asi que si has conseguido de verdad descompilar el codigo Java, el texo estará ahi... pero en un formato no legible.

Ofuscar es una manera de proteger el codigo de un programa. Ya que Java es un lenguaje "interpretado", pues es posible descompilarlo. Asi que, a fin de proteger el fuente, se coloca el codigo de forma que el interprete lo entienda bien, pero no una persona. No hay forma de leer ese codigo y los textos que contiene si éste está ofuscado.

me refiero a que con detx2jar y apk2java conseguí obtener todos los javas pero no esta el texto solo veo el código puro y duro del programa con funciones bucles llamas a rutinas y demás historias que lógicamente ni me sirven ni entiendo y lógicamente extrayendo el contenido del apk con winrar por ejemplo si obtengo archivos pero en ninguno esta el texto del juego o de la apk ya uqe en algunas aplicaciones tb esta oculto parte del texto ya que por ejemplo el star traders rpg tiene parte del texto en el strings pero faltan algunos menús algunos mensaje y tal que no están y deben estar en otro sitio pero nose si en el código fuente o un termino intermedio, ya que al parecer en el código fuente aun no hay textos ni imágenes ni nada tan solo el funcionamiento del programa te pongo el ejemplo de un fragmento de uno de eyos:

como ves aqui aun no hay ni textos ni ostias solo funcionamiento del programa puro y duro asiq me temo que falte un proceso intermedio en donde quizás un archivo vacío generado por el código fuente luego el desarrollador lo rellene con texto y termine de alguna manera el compilado del programa con esos archivos y luego vuelvan a desaparecer en el ultimo paso de la creación del apk....

Por otro lado el programa apk2java da algunos errores que quizas tu entiendas por que yo ni idea de que significa:

Por lo pronto la descompilación veo que no es muy "limpia". No tiene ni el nombre de las clases ni casi nada. Veo un código demasiado automático, poco "humano", y que incluso llega a romper normas básicas de la programación. No creo que el programador llamara a las variables a,b,c,etc.. es un autentico suicidio hacerlo. Además, faltan métodos, que son los mensajes de error que te da.

De todas formas, los textos perdidos pueden estar en varios sitios:

- En una base de datos (un poco bestia, pero hay quien lo hace)
- En un archivo de datos encriptado en algun sitio (aunque debiera estar en el apk, pero a saber cual es)
- Puede que, al ser un juego, sencillamente esté en varios bitmap. Quizás tambien encriptados.
- Los textos estén en otro apk. No es común, pero tampoco raro.
- Poco probable, pero puede que sencillamente se "dibujen" los caracteres. En ese caso, aparecerán como una coleccion de coordenadas en algun metodo. Este ultimo es poco probable.

Y, quizás la más probable... el descompilador no te da el codigo tal y como lo tecleo el programador. Quizas sencillamente analice el codigo para darte las clases (lo que seria un esqueleto del programa), pero no se detenga (o no pueda) en darte los datos. Eso es más probable. Muchos descompiladores de .NET y Java te dan un esquema UML del programa, en lugar de su codigo. Es mas util que el codigo segun para que cosas. Esto lo hacen "interpretando" el bytecode y "deduciendo" la forma de las clases y sus métodos. Basicamente, asi funciona un descompilador más o menos efectivo, ya que hay muchisimas dificultades a la hora de intentar sacar el codigo entero. Si el programador dejó la información de depuración (es más frecuente de lo que parece), si se podría acceder a casi todo, nombres de variables incluidos. Y no digamos los textos.

Por lo que sea (el descompilador sabrá), no puede descompilar algunos métodos. Quizás sean de clases externas al propio juego, y estén en alguna librería.

Hay varios bloques Try superpuestos, y no sabe interpretarlos correctamente. Asi que partes del código no se descompilaran. Si el programador ha sido prudente, habra usado muchos Try, con lo que faltan porciones muy importantes de codigo.

En fin, aunque no sea del todo adecuado, los hay que intentan poner trabas a las posibles traducciones por parte de la comunidad, o a que otros programadores hagamos programas compatibles con los suyos (unico supuesto que permite la Ley para descompilar un programa por parte de terceros).

A ver si sale algún profesional de la ingeniería inversa y encuentra una manera de sacar los textos. Entre los supuestos que he planteado seguro que se me escapan mil formas diferentes de esconder los textos en el programa.

En fin, leer todo el texto que me has puesto e intentar explicarte como van estas cosillas no me supone ninguna molestia. Todo lo contrario, es una oportunidad como otra cualquiera de aprender y de que otros se puedan beneficiar de esta discusión. Habrá más de uno con las mismas dudas y que no se atreva a preguntar. Además de que si sale un profesional explicandonos como sacar las cadenas, me va a hacer un favor a mi también.

Bien después de mucho mirar y probar creo que no hacia falta descompilar mas que lo que se descompila normalmente solo que estaba en un archivo un tanto extraño se llama:

El problema que ahora surje es como coño se puede tocar ese archivo sin joderlo, se te ocurre el motivo por el que este así? es que estando todo el texto junto sin espacios ni nada de nada no voi a poder añadir mas letras de las que trae suponiendo que no compruebe de alguna manera que es el archivo que tiene que ser y en cuanto cambie una letra se joda el archivo entero... quizás sea un tipo de encriptado o necesito el programa que lo genera o que puede ser?

Ah y esta en la carpeta assets/script por si te sirve de algo para saber como podría acceder decompilar ese archivo o traerlo de vuelta al mundo de los vivos por que vamos ese trafabullo es imposible de modificar sin joder algo ya que imagino que sepa donde termina cada texto con el . que en código binario para separar suele ser 00 y no 09 que es el . normal (creo recordar que era así)

Para separar en codigo binario... quizas en codigo maquina. Pero esto no es un trozo de programa. Es sencillamente un archivo binario que puede contener imagenes, textos, audio, y todo junto. Para poder tocar ahi necesitas saber el formato del registro. Y eso es solo cosa del programador.

Alguna vez he hecho alguna cosilla asi... y, en principio, salvo que se compruebe CRC o algo asi (que no creo), poder se puede tocar. Eso si, nada de añadir. Solo se puede tocar el texto en claro, pero nunca el resto. Si lo haces, puede ser que el juego no encuentre el fin de cadena (que podria ser el 09, pero que es un valor totalmente arbitrario), y las consecuencias pueden ser impredecibles. Los codigos que ves, ademas, no estan completos. Habra sin duda un monton de caracteres no imprimibles, y donde tu ves un punto (por ejemplo), lo que hay en realidad es el 07 (un sonido por el speaker).

Es un formato de archivo creado por el programador, y el ha puesto las normas. Por cierto, el separador 00 no es tal separador... 00 es null, o sea, NADA. No existe ninguna norma en cuanto a archivos binarios se refiere. La norma la pone el programador, y el separador de registro puede ser lo mismo un 00, que 13 (enter), que la letra x.

Por ultimo, nada de usar un editor de texto... aqui solo vale un editor hex. Si guardas ese archivo con un programa que pueda "interpretar" los caracteres no imprimibles, te cargas el archivo.

En fin, que te ha tocado uno de esos dificiles de traducir pero a base de pura mala uva.

Aparte, ando pensando que esto puede ser un archivo con instrucciones para un interprete que han podido crear para hacer juegos "como churros". Asi que, además de textos y bitmaps, deben estar ahi las instrucciones internas del juego. Eso si, en su propio lenguaje. Es como hacer una pequeña maquina virtual para interpretar juegos, como lo era el SCUMM o el AGI para las aventuras graficas, y otros muchos para otros tipos de juegos. Desde luego, es interesante.

Tiene toda la pinta de que ese programa usa una herramienta para crear los cuadros de diálogo, esa herramienta genera un fichero en formato propietario y luego debe haber una librería en el código que se encargue de desplegar el diálogo. Si consigues averiguar qué herramienta es esa, podrías usarla para editar el dlg.

perfecto muchas gracias a los 2 me habéis aclarado muchas cosas, respecto al final de linea una cosa mas que se en todos los juegos que recuerdo se usaba el null y por eso pensé que siempre seria así.

pmaicas se te ocurre algún sitio donde pueda a empezar a buscar información sobre herramientas para crear diálogos aver si alguna abre el archivo? o bueno algún tipo de programa que detecte que es el archivo si esta comprimido si es h o b o lo que sea para al menos intentar ir cogiendo la dirección adecuada ya que ahora mismo no se me ocurre nada.

No puedes estirar el contenido entre dos null, porque no hay espacio y machacas el siguiente string, siempre tienes que respetar la poscion del primer caracter de cada string.

¿ no sería mas facil hablar con el autor y ofrecerte a traducirlo ?

Es que aún editando el dlg con la herramienta original, si aumentas la longitud de los textos tambien habría que modificar el fuente java

el tema de hablar con los desarrolladores olvídate.... hace tiempo que están "muy ocupados" para responder a la gente por no hablar que la mayoría ni siquiera ponen formas de contacto con el... y los 3 o 4 de como 25 que intente hablar lo que me han dicho es de momento no puedo o no estoy interesado en el soporte multiidioma, alguno que todavía es muy pronto... etc el caso es que de todos los que pregunte solo 1 accedió a enviarme el strings para poder traducirlo... con lo que directamente ni intento ya ponerme en contacto por que no sirve para nada a no ser que el juego o app tenga un foro y allí si expongo mi pregunta...
