pero además de las mejoras del sistema (doble escritorio, aspecto gráfico, mejoras en apps), parece que el ahorro de batería lo exprimen todavía más integrando en el sistema funciones tipo Greenify y Wakelock detector

Hay que tener en cuenta que la ROM china va totalmente a parte de la Global.
Tiene diferente equipo de desarrolladores, diferentes changelog, fechas de release, etc
