is, at long last. To all those that have stuck by me (and the rest of the VillainROM team) since I began developing for the Hero in January, thank you. I hope this ROM is the ROM you’ve been waiting for. This morning, an OFFICIAL GSM HERO 2.1 Patch, complete with Radio arrived in my dropbox with a simple message – ‘OKAY TO RELEASE’. Within 10 minutes, Pulser and I had stripped it down and began rebuilding it. Esto es lo que ha comprobado Arkaknio.
 Cita:Ya se ha publicado la VillainROM10 basada en la 2.1 oficial pero ahorraos la molestia de flashearla porque el teclado en pantalla no funciona. Es decir, cuando pulsas en un cuadro de texto para escribir no te aparece el teclado táctil por lo que la ROM es totalmente inutilizable.
El que quiera probar a ver si a él le funciona que pruebe. Yo lo he intentado todo (he flasheado varias veces, he realizado infinidad de wipes) y no he conseguido hacer aparecer el maldito teclado de los webs. Pues ya le ha respondido
it is not missing, it needs to be enabled first. follow the below steps to get it working. 1) skip all the initial setup (since you will need kb to enter username and password) 2) Go to settings: Home > Settings > Language & keyboard 3) Check "HTC_IME mod" and accept 4) Configure the kb if you wish 5) Setup your accounts which you skip initially

Pues ya te han respondido los de Villain, en resumidas cuentas que te saltes el proceso incial de configuracion y te vayas directamente a activar el teclado HTC en la parte de configuracion, a partir de ahi todo normal (según ellos...).
De todos modos nos vamos a artar de ver roms a patadas, solo espero que las memorias flash del terminal aguanten el tiron de tanto flasheo.

Buenas,
acabo de meter esta ROM (es la primera que le pongo) después de todas las copias de seguridad posibles, particionar y hacer wipe. El teclado no me ha dado ningún problema, pero no puedo descargar nada del Market. Accedo y puedo buscar, pero se queda "iniciando descarga...". Alguna idea? Quería bajar apkInstaller para meterle el mybackup pro desde la SD y restaurar todo : Vale, ni caso, ahora acaba de hacerlo en cero coma... Qué cosas... Creo que no hay ninguna aun en español completo, la oficial de taiwan viene en chino y en ingles y con el morelocale se consigue un traduccion parcial, algunas cosas en ingles y otras en español, pero completa que yo haya leido no hay ninguna.

Buenas,
cierto, olvidé responder a eso. Pues está parcialmente en español, pero en su mayoría no. Ahora mi problema es que el apkInstaller peta nada más abrirlo. He probado otro instalador y lo mismo. Y el Mybackup gratuito del market está caducado. Solucionado con un tal Installer (a secas) que dice tener un fix para Froyo. Última edición por Fitoma Día 05/06/10 a las 14:26:56.

La tengo flasheada desde hace dos horitas mas o menos y va perfecta. Está medio en ingles medio español algunas cosas, pero va perfecta. Lo unico malo que le veo es que no trae la aplicación de Noticias de HTC. Ojalá la implementen, porque me encanta. Y tambien le faltan algunod widgets que tiene el legend como el de correo en modo lista, etc. Por lo demás, la galeria del Nexus funciona al 100% pero como trabaja a 16 bits (o eso creo) no se ven tan bien como en la galeria de htc, que el multitouch esta mejorado y va perfectamente, me encanta sobretodo en las fotos (gracias HTC). Y el navegador de P.M sin cierres, etc. La camara perfecta, aunque saca las fotos un poco más lentas que algunas custom roms, así que tendre que provar en exterior para ver si salen movidas. Y la interfaz es la del legend (tonos más oscuros, fondo de pantalla nuevo, etc.). Por ultimo el tethering funciona perfectamente y la fluidez del sistema es IMPRESIONANTE.
Moraleja: lo bueno se hace esperar  si teneis alguna pregunta sobre la rom preguntadme que os lo puedo mirar en un segundo

A nadie más le pasa lo del teclado?. Llevo varias horas intentándolo solucionar pero no hay manera, no consigo sacar el teclado en pantalla.
