Mensaje de un desarrolador a Jo-san:

First of all, let me tell you that I'm not 100% against ports. They are ok as long as done properly.

I didn't know bule before RN2 and even now I barely know him, but I contacted him some time ago with the help of my Taiwanese friend @jwchen119.
bule seems like a nice guy and he spent a lot of time and sleepless nights since RN2 launch just to boot CM and make a working device tree.
Then spent many more hours to make it usable. After that @nofearnohappy fixed the camera initialization.

This is nothing like your "builds", which are just repacks with added things which again you took from somewhere else, i.e. pre-installed apps.
Don't you think that the original developer can do the same to fix some of the issues that are purely dependent on proprietary blobs (i.e. replace libs or binaries from stock rom)?

Now let's talk about your so-called "tweaks".
Usually people who repack roms claim to make "optimizations" which are usually lines added to build.prop which they found on the internet.
Most of these "tweaks" are originating back from the time when ICS was the newest android. And maybe half of them don't work on modern Androids.
Also some of them are vendor specific - Motorola, LG, etc.
So, could you tell me what this "general optimization" means for your "builds"?

For example, many "devs" use ro.lge.proximity.delay or mot.proximity.delay. First is for LG, second is for Motorola and these are not standard properties, so they do nothing.
Don't get me wrong...I've done the same when I first started with Android, but I'm not ashamed to admit it was because I didn't understand much what I was doing back then.

You at least added credits here, perhaps because XDA mods would instantly remove your thread, but on needrom I don't see any credits!
This is the reason many devs from CM mediatek thread don't post their builds anymore.
It's really offensive to see your hard work so blatantly copied and abused.
It's very probable you won't see other CM builds from source because of this.

It's not your work. Period. You just copy libs, binaries from other ROMs (usually stock). Best modders actually reverse-engineer frameworks, modify smali code and fix bugs by "translating" java code back to smali.
How did you fix some of the issues? Replaced some binaries, right?

You should understand that real developers are offended by things people like you do. And you're being arrogant, instead of admitting your fault and do everything properly.

As a developer (not a very good one, I should admit; I'm a web-developer on my regular job), I know how much time it is required to have CM at this state. Or any other MTK ROM compiled from source.
For example the full AOSP source I'm working on is totaling 50GB after compilation.
You should respect real developers where you get the base for your "builds" from. Without them, how would you do it?

FYI, general Chinese modders are the same, or even worse - blatantly copying other's work and calling it theirs.

EDIT: My bad, the ROM on Needrom is not yours, but this still does not invalidate my point.
