Hi Icoo Support Team! I need your help to get my Icoo D70PRO II working. The problem is that the tablet refuses to boot, sometimes, it get's flashing white screen and then shutdown, and then the same; and vice-versa, and sometimes, it get's stuck at Icoo Penguins Logo and nothing happens unless I disconnect USB cable, also from charger, it just get's out of battery and shuts down.

Trying to flash it through RK Batch Tool results in USB_DESCRIPTOR_FAILURE on Windows and Descriptor -62 error on Hub 4.0.0.1 on Linux, over any USB Port. So the problem besides on the device itself. A friend gifted it to me.

The only strange thing is that the digitizer got broken after an hard fall down.
My question is: maybe the digitizer is shortcutting the motherboard, or shortcutting itself, so the tablet can't recognize it as a working device.

What can I do? Is there a "testpoint" where I can shortcut it to forcibly boot the Android OS (like on MediaTek devices to get it in flash mode after Preloader brick)?

Thanks, and wait for an answer.

Hi and thanks for your answer, but my problem, really, besides in that the tablet refuses to get connected through USB in flash-mode, it doesn't gave a right way to the PC to assign an USB_ID and then, PC decides to stop trying to assign an ID. So tablet just stucks, then, it charges it's battery with a black screen (nothing displayed), but battery charges because it boots at penguins instead of doing nothing if I try to forcibly reset it.

Any ideas on what to do?

USB Errors are:

On windows:

- USB_DESCRIPTOR_FAILURE

On Linux:
- Usb_hub: 4.0.0.1: trying to assign device id xx, read error -62 -- This repeats several times before stop trying.

Any hints?

Hi RockChip Support Team. I'm going to ask a little question. I have an Icoo D70Pro II tablet, it's based on the RockChip RK3066 chipset, it seems to be broken but I didn't find a way to test it. Is there some way to force it to boot on Android or into Flash-Mode? When I start flash-mode sequence (Vol+ & USB Connection) my computer says USB_DESCRIPTOR_FAILURE (on Windows) and error -62 during device ID assignation (on Linux). So I disassembled the rear case and started to put my finger close to it, it gets at about 50° in 1 minute. Also, booting it normally just gets it in the Penguins Icoo Logo and doesn't do anything, anyway, it starts heating more and more that chip.

The only thing that I see that's really bad is the digitizer (or touch screen), it's broken and spread in about 4 parts after a drop from big height. But it seems to still be connected to the micro-board behind it that interprets the coords (I don't want to disassemble it with the risk of not getting a new one). Maybe it's shortcutting the board?

Those questions are the ones that Icoo can't (or doesn't want) to answer me.

Is there a chance to get those answered, at least from us. I really know that RockChip has nothing more to do after selling it's chips. But as Icoo doesn't answer and just gave me one Firmware download after explaining all the things I tried (including firmware) that I explained above.

Thanks, and waiting for an answer. ;)

No volvió a encender.
