Overall Purpose

Our customer, AddComm Direct, the European Leader in integrated solutions for multichannel communications, with base in The Netherlands, is seeking a PHP Web Developer for its new facilities on the Costa del Sol area.

Qualifications/Knowledge/Experience

Working in a highly specialised team and reporting to the Office Manager, this broad and diverse role will include the following skills:
Essential:
§ At least 2-5 years of web development experience.
§ Extensive PHP5/MySQL development experience should be a top-notch PHP5 developer, familiar with the latest features in PHP 5.2.X and 5.3.X.
§ MySQL - Modern database development expertise, words like 'trigger' and 'view' should be part of your vocabulary.
§ XHTML/CSS/JavaScript/AJAX - Expert level JavaScript/XHTML/CSS development will be necessary. jQuery experience preferred.
§ Object Oriented Development - Ideal candidates should understand object-oriented development, and apply OO concepts to everything they do.
§ Self-Starter - Looking for candidates who can jump in quickly without a lot of direction.
§ High level of English in speaking, reading and writing.
Desirable:
§ Web Services - Experience building modern web services.
§ Social App Development - Experience in building social sites or apps (Facebook, etc.)
§ Highly motivated and with team orientation
§ Willing to conduct any works that are non-specific to base skills.
§ A strong sense of urgency, responsibility and drive to achieve.
§ Familiar with Yii framework
§ Knowledge of programming iOS & Android Apps
