¿Alguien me explicaca como hacer Root en 4.2?

Yo con 4.2 lo conseguir mediante el toolkit, pero la ultima versión. (Si, he donado, o pagado como querais).

Respecto a lo de obtener el toolkit del galaxy nexus creo que hay una donación minima para obtener acceso a todos los toolkits, pero vamos que compensa más donar 2 euretes por cada uno que querais, a mi por lo menos pienso que me mereció la pena.

Con la versión 3.8.2 cuando se inicia te pregunta en que versión de android está la tablet le marcas la 4.2 y lo roteas, da una advertencia que dice que solo funciona instalando superSU versión 0.98 o algo así, pero vamos esta bastante claro todo en el menú. Yo si que pude rotear.

Edito: No pretendo decir que donar sea la unica forma de rootear, lamento si alguien ha podido malinterpretar mi post. os pego esto que he visto que sirve con el toolkit 3.2 sin mayor problema. Y además sirve para el nexus 7 3g.

I unlocked my 3G N7 (which came with 4.2 by default) by doing the following - all using v3.2.0:

1) Download SuperSU from here. Make sure you download the flashable zip and do not install from market.
2) Unlock bootlader (Option 3 in the toolkit)
3) Booted to Custom Bootloader without flashing it (Option 10)
4) Flashed the SuperSU which I downloaded previously.
5) Booted to Android OS
6) Installed Busybox (Option 7)
7) Installed ROM Manager from Play store
8) Install CMW using ROM Manager
9) Downloaded the Touch version of CMW from here. Again, make sure you get the flashable version
10) Installed the Touch version of CMW using ROM Manager

(If you want, you can obviously download the cmw touch image, place it in the toolkit folder, and flash that (and therefore by-pass steps 3,7-10)

It seems like a lot of steps, but the whole thing literally took minutes to do.

I also used the above steps to root my old Wifi N7 which I had upgraded via flashing the Google 4.2 image onto it (option 9 using the image from here)

For both devices, it went flawlessly and without any issues at any points.
