Una review:
 Cita:I was fortunate enough to get my hands on a final release Black Sony Xperia ZL from a very reliable source. This phone is expected to be released around the middle to end of March. This is the unlocked C6506 model of the ZL which comes with UMTS HSPA+ 850 (Band V), 900 (Band VIII), 1700 (Band IV), 1900 (Band II), 2100 (Band I) GSM GPRS/EDGE 850, 900, 1800, 1900 LTE Band I, Band II, Band IV, Band V and Band XVII. For those of you who are not sure what that means this is a penta band phone that will work with Tmobile and AT&T HSPA + network as well as AT&T's LTE and Tmobile's soon to be released LTE network. I am currently using it on Tmobile but i have also tested it with AT&T.
This phone has the exact same specs as the Xperia Z minus the dust and waterproofing. However what you lose in extra protection gains you a very compact phone. It is actually smaller than the Galaxy S III as far as length and width are concerned, it is slightly thicker but not by much. The back casing is made of a poly plastic with a durable textured back that actually gives you a better grip over a 5" screen that was made to be used one handed. The screen is bright and crisp and the viewing angles are great if your one of those people that look at your phone dead on (Why people want a phone that can be seen by the person sitting next to you is beyond me). I will take some pics comparing it with the Galaxy S III as well as the Xperia TX. But the screen is amazing and watching the walking dead on it has been a joy. Battery life has been pretty decent. Im averaging about 13-14 hours of light to moderate use and 6-8 hours of heavy use witch include browsing the net, youtube, facebooking and watching movies. Mind you i have done all this without using stamina mode. i wanted to see what my results where without it so that i then have something to compare it against. i will report back. The Ui is pretty slick it has some neat animations but its not heavily tweaked like sense 4.0 or cartoony like Touch Wiz. there is nothing about this phone that has lag or stutter in anyway. It is FAST, and ive attempted to bog it down opening and closing apps as well as switching between apps with not so much as a problem. Another nice touch which had me thrilled was that i was able to download all of my old Nvidia Tegra games that i purchased back when i was using the G2X (im really enjoying gaming on this phone GTA3 and Vice city play great as well as 9MM, Order and Chaos, The Dark Knight, Spiderman, Backstab, Max Payne, Dead Trigger, Dead Space, Vector and Angry Birds). Music sounds excellent provided you have decent headphones and the speaker on this thing is pretty loud.loud enough to allow me to have conversations on speaker while driving around town. Things im not crazy about...Im not digging the fact that the background has switched from black to white in the stock messaging app as well as contacts but thats just personal taste. Also the lock screen requires you to do a full swipe up and down with this neat little window blind effect but its annoying at times because it really does require you to go from top to bottom and vice versa for it to unlock the screen. The camera takes great shots but i feel that the burst shot should really have its own button rather than me having to go looking for it in the menu or perhaps do like HTC has and register that fact that i haven't taken my finger off the shutter. Especially considering it that theres unused space in the left hand menu options that would make for a good place to put a burst shot button.The notification area has the easy access settings buttons vibration, blue-tooth, wi-fi, data connections and settings, but they are not customizable at all and that reallys drags away from their purpose in my opinion as it should be up to the user to set. the placement of the front facing camera while interesting does mean that if your a right handed user you may be holding it with your left hand or looking at the person your chating with sideways because your palm may get in the way.

Ya sabemos tambien porque tarda tanto en salir, todos los ZL estaban en el MWC
 Sony ha creado un muro de ZL sincronizados ofreciendo todos una sola imagen, 196 ZLs en total. http://workingmatt.blogspot.co.uk/20...ress-2013.html La gente creia que era una sola pantalla con lineas divisorias pintadas...y lo han tenido puesto 6 días seguidos, apagandolo solo de noche.

ZL ya a la venta en Rusia.
Aunque no es un precio muy a tener en cuenta dado que allí los móviles son mucho más caros, si es bueno ver su precio en comparación con el Z. Z en Rusia 29990p = 746.75 eur ZL en Rusia 27490p = 684.50 eur Más o menos un 8.5% de diferencia. Si tomamos como referencia los 611 eur por los que vendía Amazon el Z alemán, un precio apróximado del ZL podría ser 559 eur, que es ese 8.5%, aunque obviamente al tomar como base el % sobre unos precios mayores ese % de diferencia de precio será menor, alrededor del 7%. En México estará disponible el 19 de abril, a unos 9000 pesos, unos 540 euros.

Que no decaiga este hilo! Ya se esta vendiendo en Australia, Rusia, y muy pronto ya anunciado en alemania, ademas de latino america, no creo que vaya a ser la misma historia del neo y neo v, que recuerdo que el neo v se hizo por falta de suministros para el neo debido a las inundaciones en tailandia. Yo creo que podremos conseguirlo a un buen precio, pero habra que esperar jn poquito mas hasta que vaya saliendo en los diferentes paises. Cada vez estoy mas convencido del qie quiero sea este.

Pues a ver si sale a la venta en Amazon, pero que sea bastante más barato que el.Z, si sólo va a haber una diferencia de 50€ no me.motiva mucho, no sé si habra mucho soporte para rootearlo y demás...

En alemania el Z cuesta 649 y el ZL 549, 100 euros de diferencia, de momento para mi 100 euros ya va siendo una diferencia considerable. El tema de soporte por parte de la comunidad, en toda América sale el ZL, hay que añadir de que lo hace especialmente (aunque habrán otras razones tambien) por lo de que soporta LTE cosa que el Z no. En Alemania igual. No hay que desmotivarse! ahora se habla mucho del Z porque acaba de salir y tiene que ser promocionado pero ya mismito llega el ZL, supongo que en Alemania sale en Abril porque ya esta anunciado en TPH. Cualquier nueva noticia no se olviden de colgarla!! Que esos ánimos no decaigan!!!
No sé si ya lo han subido (estoy escribiendo el mensaje y me da pereza volver a mirarme cada pagina
 ) pero por si acaso

Sí, 100€ ya es una diferencia considerable y aceptable.
A ver si valen las mismas modificaciones del Z para el ZL que no tengo yo todas conmigo..

Yo queria el ZL por el led de notificaciones, y parece ser que al final no lo lleva, no?en la vida me compraria una smartphone sin led que me avise de que tengo algo pendiente por ver, o al menos que pueda usar los botones para simularlo, como con mi antiguo ARC o el actual NOTE.

 Funcionaria aqui a españa? Por lo que pone no deberia haber ningun problema.

Acabo de tocar, por 3a. vez, el Z (ya está en la Fnac, Madrid) y definitivamente es muy grande. Desde luego creo que el ZL no tiene rival hoy en día en las 5 ". Pensad que es más pequeño que el SGS3

No sé, yo nunca he pedido nada que no fuera dentro de España, no sé si comprándolo en USA tendremos garantía aquí, nos cobrarían algún tipo de impuesto aparte en aduanas? Una sensacion que tengo de ver varios videos del Z y ZL es que parece que la pantalla del ZL tiene unos colores mas sosos...
Por cierto, tengo un dilema tan grande... Lo que me llama del ZL, es su marco pequeño, el botón de cámara, el infrarrojo, ampliación hasta 64gb. Lo que me llama del Z, su diseño inigualable, impermeabilidad, grosor, y...es que enamora a primera vista simplemente. Lo que Sony debería haber hecho, aunque no lo ha hecho aposta para tocar los eggs. Diseño del Z, grosor del Z, altura y anchura del ZL, botón de cámara, impermeabilidad y esas cosas del Z, el led del ZL, la cámara secundaria como en el ZL, calidad de la cámara del Z...sería el cell perfecto T.T Si me compro el Z sería en blanco por las huellas y ademas en el frontal se vería un poco mas pequeño aunque no lo sería, y si fuera el ZL o negro o rojo que el plástico blanco tiene un afán de quedarse amarillo...

El ZL lleva un led alargado en la parte de abajo que se ve mucho mejor que en el Z.
Hay videos en youtube en los que se ve encendido cuando esta conectado el cable de carga.
