ROM OxygenOS Open Beta 3 (Android O) for the OnePlus 5T

Hello everyone!

Announcing our first Open Beta build for the OnePlus 5T today! This Open Beta build based on Android 8.0 for the OnePlus 5T is available for download now. Here’s the changelog of this build.

Updated to Android O (8.0)
Launcher
Optimized the app shortcut style
Combine icon options with app shortcuts
Now able to upload photos to Shot on OnePlus
System
Added Picture in Picture
Added Auto-Fill
Added Smart Text Selection
New Quick Settings design
Updated Android security patch to December
[Instructions and Info]
Please keep in mind that this is beta software. These builds are sometime NOT as stable as our official OTAs generally are. By installing this update, you accept the potential risks of data loss.
If you would like to join our Open Beta Program, please refer to the flashing instructions [HERE] and download the full ROM [HERE].
Once you migrate to the Beta path, you will continue to receive Open Beta OTAs. You will NO LONGER receive the regular Official Stable OTAs.
Reverting back to the Official OTA path from the Beta path will require a full install and clean flash (FULL WIPE of all data and cache). Please carefully follow the flash instructions below.
Please be aware that all data will be wiped during the revert-back process, so do remember to backup your data in advance.
Download the roll-back build provided [HERE] to Internal storage.
Shut down your device and enter recovery mode by long pressing the Power + Volume Down key simultaneously.
Select “Install from Local” and choose the downloaded build to install.
Reboot your device after installing the build. You have to re-enter recovery mode to Wipe data cache and Erase everything(Music, pics, etc).
Reboot your device again and you're all good to go.

Buenas a todos foreros, no participo mucho en los foros pero hoy acabo de instalar la beta del OnePlus5T y demomento todo ok. Saludos

De qué base venías? Puedes mirar el menú del desbloqueo facial. En la 4.7.6 salía la luz auxiliar para el desbloqueo y ahora no le aparece

Has actualizado? Puedes mirar lo del menú del desbloqueo facial, no me sale la luz auxiliar

No me aparece exactamente en que apartado estaba? Es que no uso el desbloqueo facial.

Igualmente puede que falte al ser una beta, imagino que en la OTA para todo el mundo estara

Con el tema de la luz de asistencia, creo que lo han eliminado porque tenía un conflicto de patentes, aunque no sé si acabarán añadiéndolo o no.

De momento voy a instalar la Beta, a ver que tal

Yo de momento bastante bien, a ver como se comporta pero llevo ya 4-5 horitas con ella y 0 errores

Si, se ve que lo han quitado, pues funcionaba de lujo hasta en plena oscuridad. Bueno de momento ya de lujo la beta. Me gustan los cambios.

Con la beta y todo OK, solo siento que las animaciones no van tan rápido como en el nougat. Alguien con la misma sensación?

Dicen que es una ROM Nougat con un tema diferente, pero que no cambia apenas nada. Las notificaciones son como Nougat y hasta lo de los iconos adaptables lo hace mal

No es Nougat, es Oreo y tiene los cambios estéticos y de software que tiene esta versión

Yo creo que tampoco podemos esperar que cada versión de Android sea la mega revolución... Ahora mismo estamos en un punto que hay poco que mejorar en experiencia del usuario

Es que ir mejor es muy difícil, a mi me va perfecto también y los cambios estéticos son muy agradables. De momento cero fallos

A mi me va genial, sin fallo. No obstante si no te gusta siempre puedes volver. Ya te digo que va sin fallo o al menos a mí no le lo ha dado
