La verdad no acabo de entender esa facilidad de cambiarla en el recovery, más facil todavia es cambiar los valores con el setcpu por ejemplo, además los kernel gold son los que más finos van o no es cierto

El tornado soporta ext 2 y a mi personalmente me va mejor que cualquiera de los anteriores pero para gustos...

aproximadamente 2400 de quadrant con ext4 y 2200 o menos con ext2, el ext4 ya lo tenia puesto desde el anterior kernel con la beta3 del tornado

El quadrant no sirve de nada en Gingerbread pero si tu notas que te va mejor asi eso es lo que vale.

**** Total wipe guide ****

This new wipe feature in the Tornado kernel (beta5+) is a way to clean up the phone without
the need to flash different stock firmware.
You still need the latest bootloader installed.

**** WARNING ****
The wipe will clean up the phone and it will remove ALL files from your phone.
Only the external sdcard is left alone. But the internal sdcard will be cleaned.
So if you have ANY files on your phone that you want to save, then do it first.


1. Start the phone into the recovery with the 3 button combo.
2. Choose Tornado wipe system in the menu.
3. Choose YES.


The phone will now wipe the phone.

4. The phone will then restart.
But you dont have anything on it so it will be stuck on the boot screen.

Your phone is total clean now and your internal sdcard is also empty.
So we need to copy the rom from your computer to the phone.

A. Press the 3 button combo for the recovery.
B. In the menu choose mounts and storage.
C. Put your USB cabel in.
D. choose mount USB storage
E. Now go where you have you rom on the computer and copy it to the phone.
F. Choose Unmount to change back and mount the internal sdcard back into the phone.
G. Pull out your usb cable, for you dont need it anymore.


Now its time for install the rom.
Use the normal "install zip from sdcard"

When you have installed the rom you need to restart the phone.
First it will boot up to the boot logo, then it will restart again.
Then it will boot up like it should.



**** Infomation ****
I have trashed the file system many many time to make sure it does clean up the file system.
This system dont just remove files like all other cleanup scripts.
It will recreate the file partitions so they will always be empty.
Thats why it can be a problem on the first start after you flashed the rom.

This should repair the sdcard on bell phones that is fixable with the format trick.

Im not sure this is so much easier then the other way, but you dont need to use ODIN to fix it.
It will not remove your modem or kernel.
You only need to make sure your USB is working before you start and you have a rom file.
Also make SURE you have backed up all your files you want to save.

Ahora llevo ese kernel junto con la rom tornado rc2. System en ext2 y procesador a 1.300. Bateria 1 dia sin problema dandole caña. Fluidez increible funciona todo al instante. Cero FC y funcionando todo como stock. Despues de probar todas las roms (miui y cyano incluidas) me la quedo. No se lo que da en quadrant porque no lo tengo instalado pero vuela...

No os agobieis con eso, Damian nunca fue partidiario de BLN, pero bueno hay otras opciones, por ejemplo el NoLed.

he probado la damian tornado rc2 junto al kernel beta 5 y el resultado es espectacular, tan rápida y estable que ni las miuis

no tan bonita graficamente como la criskelo, sobre todo la servant pero mucho mas rapida, e incluso mas rapida que la goatrip, lo repito es impresionante y el consumo hasta ahora es como nos tenia acostumbrados damian con froyo, esta combinacion kernel-rom es lo que estaba buscando

solo me ocurre una cosa y es que el modpack 3 no se instala, se queda instalando y asi todo el tiempo. Alguien sabe algo sobre eso?

Pues va muy bien, a mi novia con 3g todo el dia activado y wifi, dandole caña le termina el dia con un 60% de bateria en la jvr! Esta que no see lo cree

Segun tengo entendido el modpack 3 lo que hace es instalar todas las aplicaciones, yo solo llevo instalado el modpack 1, desde la apli tornado addons elijo solo las aplicaciones que me interesan y listo, los themes y los modpack se instalan desde recovery, la apli unicamente los descarga a la raiz de la sd para despues flasearlos.
PD: yo llevo el tema azul con ADW ex con el tema miui para ADW y queda muy guapa...

He querido dejar pasar tres dias para que se estabilizaran la rom y el kernel pero al igual que los compis que lo han comentado pienso que la tornado rc2 con la beta 5 del kernel de Damian es tan rapida y fluida como cualquier Miui o Ciano eso si gastando menos bateria y con radio.A ver si se anima mas gente a probarla y asi vamos comentando cosillas....
