[KERNEL] GALAXIAN [334MB] [JW1] [Voodoo Sound][EXT4][BLN][COLOR]

MOST RECENT UPDATE (V3):

- fixed video calls (bad front camera driver used)
- 344MB of RAM without loosing video calls and hd recording capability
- slightly brighter overall image
- reduced red tint on low brightness setting
- about 5% quieter built in internal speaker to prevent of distortions at max. power


V2:

- fully working MDNIE profiles! Galaxian is the first kernel (of these well-known) that fully supports MDNIE profiles, both for Outdoor Mode as well as for Normal Mode (check it in Video Player for example)
- reduced green color for about 3%
- image sharpened for about 1%

V1:

- based on XWJW1 initramfs
- 340MB of RAM without negative side effects like loosing 720p support
- impressive speed and responsiveness increase because of the new compilation flags
- adjusted SAMOLED gamma levels and MDNIE profiles for better colors, saturation and sharpness
- fine tuned camera driver for better captured images quality
- updated su binary and Superuser.apk
- some minor changes

- /system is mounted as read only by default (if you are using SUPERSONIC ROM you can use "remount rw|ro" command to remount it to be rw or ro)
- root privileges turned on by default (you are now able to push something directly to the /system directory after remount as rw)
- uncapped charging current USB (96mA < 500mA) / AC (600mA < 800mA) [say whatever you want, this is SAFE and will not harm your device!]

- Galaxian kernel is now fully using gamma table 22 instead of 19 which give us huge improvement in overall image quality. Transitions between colors (gradients) are now smooth, without any sharp edges. Colors are more natural. When low brightness is set, image is no longer yellow/red, only just darker..

PS. There will be also Voodoo Color version of most recent EE & GT available soon

Main difference between those two versions is CPU frequency. In GT you will find by default 1200MHz as max, and in EE there will be 1000MHz as top level.

Parece que si se notara la batería, a ver cuanto y si merece.

Lo vi el otro dia acompañando a la app para corregir el autobrillo pero aun no tenia hilo propio,tiene buena pinta si,ya comentareis que tal va la bateria y demas.

me interesa mucho lo de los fps a ver si se nota mas fluido visualmente

Si que lo he probado... Overclockeado a 1400 es un gustazo para los juegos pero yo no soy un gran jugon... y no necesito tanta potencia que además se bebe la batería como el agua. Siempre me ha dado un poco de cosa el oc/uv por eso después de un rato de testeo lo he quitado.

Pero es un kernel realmente potente y bueno para los que aprovechen sus cualidades.

En quadrant sin activar el lagfix me ha dado 2000... Los fps casi siempre en las pruebas gráficas han sido de 65. Una pasada.

Va muy fluido aunque la bateria parece ser que.......
La primera imagen en con archivos rfs a 1.2 Ghz. La segunda imagen con archivos ext4 a 1.2 Ghz.

En principio bajate la app set cpu y configuralo a 1.0Ghz.

Una preguntilla....

He instalado este Kernel pero desde el recovery no veo opcion para convertir los archivos a ext4.

Hay que dejarlo tal cual o se debe hacer algo mas una vez puesto???

En otros kernels me daba opcion de conversion de archivos desde el recovery...

Lo tienes que activar con la aplicacion ext4 de Chainfire.

Desconozco esa aplicacion ni de donde descargarla...
podrias explicarme como hacerlo o donde descargarla...???

Si no me equivoco la app ext4 estaba en el market. Pon en el buscador ext4 y descargala.

En el mismo hilo del kernel lo tienes, se llama CF-Root-ext4-v1.3-Addon.apk

Me corrijo, no esta en el market, al menos a mi no me aparece, pero la tienes al final del primer post del hilo, desliza hasta abajo y veras la aplicacion ext4, que es ademas la version 1.3. Un saludo.

Lo he visto antes pero no sabia que existiera esa aplicacion, siempre lo he echo desde el recovery con los Kernels que he usado...

Un saludo y haber como va este con la bateria...aunque habra que bajarle un poco el OC sino me da a mi que se la come...jejeje
