Ya estoy con la purity . De momento bien aunque hecho cosas de menos de la cata, pero bueno será cosa de acostumbrarse.

Algo que hecho bastante en falta es el tener un switch 2G/3G entre otras cosas

Si que está en la purity el cambio 2G/3G pero no es automatico, tienes que darle para que cambie

hoy al conectarse al wifi, me ha salido el aviso de actualizacion y el muy hij***** ya me ha consumido 300 megas, se sabe como quitarlo? o deshabilitarlo?¿

A mi me ha consumido toda la cuota. Más de 500MB. Y creo que tiene que ver con estos servicios de Google, copia de seguridad. Es como si al bajarte la actualización y dar error de Instalación hiciera una copia de seguridad. Ahora hasta el 22 de junio con wifi... Pfffff

Si si, correcto. En cuanto no hay WiFi usa 3G! Ahora estoy con wifi y sigue enviando datos! Ya lleva unos 300Mb por wifi ! Suma y sigue...

Yo ahora mismo llevo Purity, es muy parecida a Cataclysm pero algo más lenta según veo. No me ha quedado otra solución que flashear esta para tener 4.4.3

I'm planning to release a Lollipop version of Cataclysm.
At the moment i don't have all the tools ready for it so don't expect a timely fashion update like other releases.
As some of you may already know Nexus 5 still miss some love on AOSP, binaries are missin and also does the factory image.

To modify the AOSP to output a 100% stock firmware i've always needed to deodex the stock firmware first.
I've analyzed the new art/oat file format and despite the dex file is still present inside the new files a deeper analisys revealed that it can't be used as-is and it seems those files still needs to be deodexed.
Took a look at new art opcodes and there are some differencies in the optimization part so current tools like smali/baksmali aren't working.
Unless i find another way i probably need to wait those tools to be updated to handle the new file format.
In kitkat there was no issue at all: while weird odex gapps packages and clueless statement like art not working with deodex apps where floating around i was amazed last year when i discovered that kitkat roms.... didn't need to be deodex at all.
Due to the fact that you could switch between art and dalvik, the optimizations on the target had to be made on original dex files instead of odex ones, that's why kitkat apps and framework had still the classes dex inside.
All you had to do wasn't deodex them then, you only had to just delete the odex files or grab just the apks, easy. Took some time to people to realize that if they even did.

About the features, i'm gonna review them all. I'm glad Google implemented some so gonna scrap a lot of the ones i've implemented.
In my perfect world Google would've implemented all the Cataclysm features and i could've stopped developing it cause i don't add features nor i develop it just for the sake of it. But after playing with the dev preview i still think there are many features that could make the life easier for us Nexus users.
Features no more needed for example:
many toggles, for example Torch or Wifi hotspot (already built it)
the lockscreen widgets (gone in LP)
screen recorder now got the API so you can use any app for it
CRT anim is gone
brightness now already have the slide on qs panel
there's a lockscreen target for dialer now, may add the ability to customize it without changing the google implementation.
List goes on, well as you may see there's a lot of work to do and some thing are beyond my reach, regarding some tools i need.

I will also embrace the Google simplicity of Lollipop deprecating features like activities on status bar like arrows, +, menu buttons and all the features i find obsolete and not following Googles guidelines.

I've an updated Cataclysm for 4.4.4 with screen+audio recording, cursor arrow keys on keyboard, the play services fix due to new updated gms code and an ability to switch seamlessy between art and dalvik without recreating the cache again making it blazing fast, but i think we should move on and look forward to the Lollipop release.
Will update you all on further progress/development.

Si Jope, yo también lo he visto, yo ya no flasheo nada mas hasta que no salga la cataclysm. Es la mejor ROM que lleve en el gnex y lo mismo para el n5.
