Saludos.

Let's clarify a few points. Mackay kernel was not chosen on advice, but simply because it seems to give the best performance and is updated more often than Semaphore kernel. Don't consider kernel a FEATURE (as I already stated), because IT'S NOT and you can flash the kernel you want.
A ROM based on CARBON contains, of course, all that has already Carbon (except the changes made by the user is using as the base). In your case C-ROM is BASED on CARBON, which means the thing I explained above. NOW, I'm ONLY compiling an existing ROM, Carbon, which is manteined by a Team which already existed before C-Rom that was based on another ROM, not Carbon. Aways entered as a member in that team after compiling it from source and creating a thread in XDA and posting commits on them Github page (search it with Google, can't post link atm) which is a thing that ANY member registered (free) on GITHUB could do (obviously knowing what "he's" pulling as request and if it is accepted by CarbonDev). His Carbon thread wasn't updated for so long, and people begin to ask an updated version of this fantastic ROM, so I decided to continue his job, but taking care of it every week. SO, don't blame with me that Carbon is the same as C-ROM, because C-ROM is based on Carbon and not vice versa. |
