[TUTORIAL] Como desbrickear nuestros Lenovo K910 usando QPST

Corion, el modo download lo consigo arrancar con vol + vol- al mismo tiempo y boton de encendido, entonces aale el logo de lenovo y se pone todo pantalla negra y led azul.

First of all sorry for the English use instead if Spanish but i can describe my issue in a better way than use the ridiculous google translator

Ok.
1. i got a bricked Lenovo K910 without acess to nothing except logo on boot. no download mode, no bootloader unlocked...nothing.
2. i've tried for the last couple of days everything that i could find on the internet, including this threat and this along with some tips from here. Nothing worked

Now my difficulty using this threat or the other mentioned from HTCmania:
1. I've installed all the files mentioned in 1st post
2. Try to boot k910 with the key combination [VOL- plus Cable Insert]
the only thing i was able to get is (see pic)



3. i tried to install Qualcomm drivers manualy but no matter what i just got this (see pic)



and i get the same result for 9008, 9006 and the other available 900D

Conclusion: I never get to the point of using QPST or even MiFlash

After i spend to much time trying to install the drivers correctly (initially without success) my phone just died. I lost Lenovo logo and ended up with just a red light blinking.

If there's anyone who ended up like me, here's the solution for a (dead?!) phone:
1. remove your battery disconecting the cable inside the phone
2. plug the phone into a PC through a usb cable
3. insert your battery back
4. voilá. phone back alive

Now that i was able to get lenovo logo back again...

... i need your help to understand something that's has been cracking my head.
How the hell should i put this in download mode?!

I mean. Each time i plug the usb cable into PC with the volume up pressed, the device manager was able to reach Lenovo_blabla_2008 but after a brief moment it changes to lenovo_composite_adb_interface.

When should i press and where to stop that happening?! Because when i start the phone with those keys combination the phone restarts twice and not just one.

Here is a picture with my phone in download mode.
I quickly press the download button but then the just just restarts and i loose the download mode

Before pressing the download button, you need to click on "Load XML def" and "Load patch def" and select the appropriate files. Then is when you have to click on download. When the process finishes, the phone will cease to be in download mode, and then, a new USB drive will appear as writeable. When that happens you have to continue from step 8.

The problem is that i do exactly that.
push both xml files raw_something & patch but nothing.

Now i began to feel really desperate!

After more than one day pressing the 2 enter buttons on my keyboard in order to enter in download mode...nothing!
Always the same! QPST discovers download mode but immediately losts cause device manager changes to some bullshit usb port instead keeping the com port connected.

I also tried MifFlash and the same result. As soon as device manager changes...buhhh.

I got to send this to someone who get this back to live or this is a really hard toilet papper

Well...
...after all these days without any success, today i must awake with a lamp over my head

Question: If our/mine problem regarding COM/USB port is the quickness that it changes to USB how can we slow it down?!
Answer: Plug an USB extension (big) between phone and PC and...voilá ;)

Simple, isn't it?

Now i got another problem

Probably i made some mistake between 7 & 8 step and i ended with a complete black screen that doesn't respond to power button, no red light even if i unplug battery cable inside K910.

Any sugestion?!

Here is a pic.

As you can see, device manager sees my port as QDLoader 9008 and it stays there.
QPST Configurator sees my port COM11 but doesn't recognize phone
and eMMC Software doens't connect on DW mode and it gives me that error

A huge thanks for all the help, patience and disposal to help

Finally i was able to follow your threat in a row but to do that i had to spend a day to format my pc, install all the patches from microsoft and only then i was able to to the job.

Again a HUGE THANKS bro

¿El PC te detectó nuevos discos duros? Si es así debes seguir con la segunda parte del proceso, paso 8 en adelante.

Muchas gracias corion por el manual, al final he conseguido revivirlo gracias a el. En una de las veces que paso por modo download le atice y cargo.

Hola, tengo el mismo problema.
Me lo detecta, luego cambia de modo, y no logro llevarlo a modo download.

Alguien encontro una solución, vi que poniendo un cable más largo podía llegar a funcionar.
Ahora cuanto más largo, yo estoy casi a un metro.

Consiguieron otros driver?

Hola a todos, tengo el k910 y creo que la he pifiado. He intentado instalar el TWRP Easy& Clean Install de la web needrom y se ha quedado en negro con el led azul. Si intento encenderlo aparece "lenovo" y se pone en negro.
Cada vez que lo conecto al pc (vol- y conectar) me aparecen 5 discos locales. He intentado iniciar el proceso del primer post y con respecto a los controladores el pc me dice lo de la imagen adjunta (ad dispos).
El QPST configuration no detecta el móvil.

No se por donde continuar, es bastante complicado, aparte del miedo a dejarlo como un ladrillo. Por favor, echarme una mano, encima el teléfono es de la empresa.

Hola, a mí me paso exactamente lo mismo que a ti.
Lo instale sobre una 4.2 y el es para una 4.4.

El equipo tiene solución, no te asustes.
Ahora yo no pude hacerlo, lo termine llevando a un servicio técnico y ellos lo hicieron.
Hasta me quedo instalado el TWRP.

Ahora si oprimes las dos teclas de volumen, y el encendido debería arrancar el TWRP, con eso puedes cargar la bateria, cargar archivos desde un pendrive... etc.

Mismo con MiFlash me decia que había cargado el recovery nuevo, etc... pero yo con mis medios no lo pude hacer.

En tu caso tienes que empezar desde el paso número 8. No le tengas miedo, que no te lo vas a cargar.

Yo tengo la versión 4.2.2 y lo tenía rooteado. El móvil se brickeó y encendía con el logo de lenovo, podía acceder al Recovery,etc...pero hice los pasos de desbrickear de Corion y en algún momento algo hice mal que ahora no enciende, simplemente cuando conecto el cable se escucha que lo reconoce pero ya está.
En el administrador de dispositivos solo me sale en la parte de OTROS DISPOSITIVOS:QHUSB_BULK (que antes no me salía) y ya no me aparece PORTS COM Y PLT...¿Qué he hecho mal? ¿Tiene arreglo?

No me expresé correctamente. Tienes que cargar los diferentes archivos.

Paso 1: En Sahara XML file, ponemos la ruta donde está el archivo XML que editamos anteriormente.
Paso 2: En el campo de Flash Programmer file name ponemos MPRG8974.mbn
Paso 3: En el campo de Boot Image ponemos 8974_msimage.mbn
Paso 4: Pulsamos en Load XML def... y seleccionamos el archivo rawprogram0.xml
Paso 5: Pulsamos en Load patch def... y seleccionamos el archivo patch0.xml
.
.
Paso 8: Desmarcamos la casilla Programm Boot Loaders
Paso 9: Marcamos Program MMC device.
Paso 10: Seleccionamos nuestro teléfono de entre los dispositivos que aparezcan (los otros deben de ser el/los discos duros que tengamos).
Paso 11: Pulsamos en Download.

Prueba a ver...
