hi ortiloco

dont worry, no problem

sorry but i am not sure about this cm10.1 rom related to battery charging issues, i am trying to contact the original developer in order to ask him about this stuff

i suggest to you to try this version ... if you want all functions working ok --> tested by me

http://www.htcmania.com/showthread.php?t=758228

and i will suggest to you this kit kat lite version - tested by me and actually still testing

http://www.htcmania.com/showthread.php?t=829263

only if you are not worried about these problems (it seems all is ok here too except some problems...) -->

BUGS: the same as in the original rom
can not charge when device is off, only with android running, important
battery is not very reliable indicator
-Mass Storage not available, use webdav or ftp
-Reverse Camera in some apps

Thank you for the quick response, I really appreciate it!

I'm actually already using the 4.1 MP-VK and it's almost perfect, my only issue with it is that it uses the external SD card for primary storage and I've noticed a drop in overall speed. Plus, I'd like to make some use of the internal memory instead (I don't have a whole lot of microSD cards and the biggest ones I've assigned to other devices).

It sounds like I should adopt a wait and see strategy here. I hope you get the battery bugs fixed in your kitkat rom, because I've tried it and if it weren't for the very fast battery drain, I would say it's quite amazing.

Thanks again for your efforts in developing the ROM and in helping me out

about battery life in kit kat rom is almost the same like the oficial rom of BQ, but battery indicator is not reliable, but is step down very slowly ... result = good battery life at the end

about the 4.1 LITE rom, you can install that rom with internal storage as default by using the vold.fstab from the original pirinvk's 4.1 rom, replacing it before flashing, also i suggest to you, to flash a 3 gb parameter in that case, in the first step from the pc, because in my lite rom 4.1 you have 6 gb of parameter by default because we use there micro sd as default storage, so 6gb internal + micro sd in that case, and i am saying to you to have 3+3 gb more or less with 3gb parameter and micro sd as external sdcard

finally i will say i am not developing this roms, i only modify and delte stuff to try to have a LITE rom (slim, only with needed stuff and not all the stuff roms usually have)

Sadly if the battery indicator is as unreliable as I've experienced, I have no way of knowing how much charge I have at any given time

Took 8 hours for a supposed full charge and then I lost most of it in less than one hour. Despite the KitKat roms being really appealing, it's not an issue I want to have to deal with.

Also I'm not sure I understand why two partitions of 3 is better than one of 6

I'll probably stick with jelly bean until (if) the original developer ever figures out how to fix the battery display.

ok i understand u, but i really like kit kat lite rom now and i am trying to know the behaviour of the indicator, i think i got it now, but anyway i understand u dont want such problems to deal with

well about the 2 partitions stuff
in my 4.1 lite u need a micro sd card of class 10 or better and in that rom i have this default config -->

6gb parameter - 6gb of internal memory main partition (and little space for the external sd card partition 8gb real internal rom - 6 gb = 2gb without include system parts that always consume a lot, so forget this partition)

and micro sd as nand flash (sdcard partition in android system) for moving games apps and parts of games download stuff

*****

and i was saying to you to have 3 gb parameter
that means u will have 2 internal memory partitions of more or less 3 gb each one (from the 8gb real capacity of the tablet) one of them is mainly partition and the other one is nand flash ... for moving games apps and parts of games download stuff

so all the system will be in rom storage and will be fast

and micro sd card as external sd card (external sd card partition in android system) in this config the micro sd card is anexed, not needed by the system,u can also remove it

this final config is what u are looking for... trust me

only changes needed in my lite 4.1 to have this final config :
to flash 3 gb parameter and replace vold.fstab file from original pirinvk's 4.1 rom

Thanks, I'll try that.

But I will wait until you potentially update your kitkat lite. If the battery issues ever get resolved, that's what I want
