(Tutorial ) Root para Orange Boston

Alguien sabe el problema este cuando lo intento rootear:

A mi no me sale, cuando hago lo del teléfono apagado para entrar en modo FTM me aparece una pantalla negra con letras blancas que sale el siguiente texto:

Que debo hacer?

Pues eso significa que lo has hecho bien,

Conecta el telefono al usb y al PC, y sigue el tutorial de la primera página.

Gracias por contestar pero el problema es que cuando lo conecto al pc no me pide nada de drivers y no puedo hacer nada mas,

A mi me ocurre lo mismo que a ti :S
Conecto el cable y la pregunta de los drivers no me sale.

si estais en win 7 no os pedira los drivers ya k los buscara en internet y no los encontrara. Lo ke teneis k hacer es instalar los drivers manualmente antes de enchufar el tel. Creo k era el archivo .cat de la carpeta, click botn derecho i seleccionar instalar driver si no es asi miradlo por internet.

Al final lo logré, hice todo los pasos sin ningún problema y en el último paso que ya salio también bien desconecte el cable del ordenador, reinicie el teléfono y no ha debido de salir bien ya que no tengo la aplicación esa de Superusers permissions y he probado el widget de overclock y no me deja modificarlo.

Tendré que volverlo hacer a ver si en esta salo todo correcto.

I'm sorry for writing in English, I'm Portuguese and I think this will be the best language for you to understand me, since unfortunately I don't know how to write in Spanish...

In Portugal we also have Optimus Boston (same device), and from what I've been seeing, the software that comes with your Boston is slightly different than ours (for instance, the Camera drivers). I'm planning to try to upgrade Android's version of this terminal, and if I could get my hands on your version of the software it would possibly be of great help... So, can anyone please make available a dump of your system?

Digamos que tengo un problema... He reflasheado a la A60, y cuando intento rootear el teléfono no me lo detecta, sin embargo el RUT sí lo hace... No es que sea muy necesario, pero es que ya que estamos... Y de paso me saco de encima esa horripilancia de tema retro... Porque cágate que me bloquea el dxTop y no puedo usarlo, ni nigún otro tema

Edito: Lo que sucede es que al arrancarlo en modo Recovery con el firm del A60 instalado se bloquea el click del trackball, de modo que ni puedo rebootearlo vía la interfaz (raro, porque sí puedo navegar por las opciones) ni me detecta el teléfono.
En cambio, el modo de router HDSPA sí que me lo detecta... No sé si habrá otro modo para las ROMs del A60, pero... maldita sea, me tiene frito!

Además de que el maldito RUT no camina en vista x64 y lo hago desde un XP Home SP3.

Edito otra vez: En modo FastBoot me dice "More than one device online" a lo que me quedo... WTF?!

i've read an answer in english and since my written spanish is very bad i hope i can make a question in english too.
I'm getting the Boston tomorrow, i want to install the Copilot Live (http://www.htcmania.com/showthread.php?t=59099) like in this tutorial. I've read that rooting it i can leave the Maps on the SD card. I have to set something so that the Maps stays on the SD CARD or i just do the installation like in the tutorial?
I've never used a smartphone but i did use linux on my pc for a while, there is some risk rooting it?

cuando hayais conectado el telefono al pc,vais directamente a la carpeta a688 go root y dentro de la carpeta haceis doble clic en el archivo go root,asi lo hice yo y me funciono en vista

Ya lo hice y ahora si que ha salido correctamente pero a la segunda, la primera vez que lo hice no me reinicio el teléfono una vez hecho el proceso pero en esta si y ya soy root.

Daniel my English is also a little bad but I'll try to help. The maps actually go to memory card and if you follow the manual will not have problems, but I am using the Sygic gps navigator who also find Htc Mania.

Ok thanks. So the maps will stay on the SD card and don't go in the phone memory?? But that only if i Root the phone or also if i don't root it?

The maps are at the root of the card as the tutorial says, all that goes into the internal memory is implementation.

Se puede desrootear?

Como todo, ser root tiene sus desventajas:

- En caso de hacer el proceso de rooteo de tu terminal mal (apagarlo en según que momento del proceso, quitar la batería, etc), puedes dejar pajarito el teléfono y no poder usarlo más.
- Perdida de la garantía de tu teléfono (eso era casi evidente)
- Perdida de la posibilidad de recibir actualizaciones automáticas del sistema Android OTA (over the air), así que tendrás que actualizarlo por tu cuenta cambiando de ROM.

Yo de momento no rooteo.

No creo que por ser root pierdas la posibilidad de actualizaciones via OTA. Al menos eso creo yo. Si que se perderían si cambias de room.

Pero por ser root pierdes la posibilidad de actualizar via ota teniendo la 1.6 de origen??
