RUN A NANDROID BACKUP BEFORE INSTALLING – THIS ROM WILL AUTO-WIPE

As the title suggests, this is a BETA build. THAT MEANS, THERE ARE BUGS... more so than in 2.1. It seems pretty stable, and very fast... which is the aim of VillainROM. My original goal with VillainROM was to get everything Sense UI/Widget working.. Now the goal has changed. I want Villain to be the fastest possible Sense UI 2.1 Rom, without losing too many of its main features.

- General Use/Navigation - FAST!

- Gallery3D from Nexus One
- HERO Bootscreen
- Gogle Nav outside of US (4.0.0 Brut - Thanks!)
- Google Search by Voice
- AOSP Android News & Weather Widget included
- Battery Life seems good
- Phone calls - in and out (no longer routing to Voicemail)
- Bluetooth Audio through headset etc, works perfectly
- Google Skymap works again!

What's included as extras:

- Handcent SMS (If you don't use this, you should)
- Gallery3D from Nexus One
- HTC Plurk (new HTC 2.1 Twitter app)
- APNDroid (Enable/Disable Data Connection)
- Dolphin Browser REPLACES stock browser (issues with it at present)

NOT WORKING/Workarounds/Advice:

- Calendar + Calendar Widget BROKEN - Sorry. Alternative Calendar apps are available on the market
- Cannot access HTC Album from Camera- use included Gallery3D to browse images
- Music App problem - use an alternative app (Rockon or Mixzing)
- People Widgets look very ugly (Unsure why at this stage)
- Weather app taken from HERO21 1.8 works, but has black and white background.
- Gmail Push still not right. Workaround is Mail app, it will pull every 5 mins without killing your battery too much.
- Install Overclock Widget - Set it as previously recommended
- Install FXCAMERA from market - use instead of standard camera. Works excellently.
- TURN OFF Haptic Feedback on keyboard - MUCH quicker

To enable Apps2SD on 3.0 only:

# adb remount
# adb shell apps2sd on
# adb reboot

INSTALL GUIDE

- Nandroid Backup
- WIPE - THIS IS ESSENTIAL, OR WILL FC CONSTANTLY.
- Flash the ROM
- Follow Setup Wizard (Add Google account, and make sure you select
wireless AND data networks). Once you get to Facebook setup, add the account. It will hang, but if you press back, it will have synced fine. Odd..
- once booted, reboot (as always)
- Open stock android contacts and set it up how you want it.
- Open HTC People, and set to default. Everything you set in Android contacts will apply in here
- TEST TEST TEST!!!

Ya la he probado, pero creo que esta verde aun, no se, no me va muy bien, llevo medio dia con ella y aun sigo haber como va, voy a darle una oportunidad.

tambien he probado la nueva de kagudroid 1.2.2, sin sense es le da mil vueltas a esta.

Cual va mejor la ultima kagudroid o la ultima ckdroid

Para mi gusto va mucho mejor la KaguDroid, aun así ahora voy a probar la Vanillain 1.0.

Es del mismo creador que la Villain, pero esta versión es sin Sense.

La ultima, la 1.2.2, va de cine, la mejor que he probado.
La camara no fuerza cierre, ( demomento)
Sincroniza con google
y ahora seguire con mas cosas

Esta ROM va fatal, me vuelvo a vanilla q va de luxe!
