Necesito un pelin de ayuda nada mas

A ver quiero poner la ROM 2.2.4 con sense 3.0 XE. Entonces en el primer post dice que la 2.5.5 + los dos packs es la mejor opcion y los enlaces son:

Ahora mismo estoy a punto de meter la nueva Beta 3.1.2... que ya está casi completa... ya tenemos CRT animations y APM, sigue faltando Extended Quick Settings, a ver si llega pronto...

No te quiero machacar el estupendo trabajo que te has pegado para recopilar las ROMs de baad en un post... pero baad ha pedido expresamente varias veces que no pongamos links directos a las descargas sino a su página (él cobra algo cada vez que alguien la visita) para poder mantener los sitios de descarga y controlar cuanta gente usa realmente sus ROMs. Es mejor que en el futuro pongas sólo el enlace a la sección de descargas del Sensation en su página : http://insertcoin-roms.org/htc-sensation/download

P.D: No me he olvidado del tutorial sobre el Overclock y el System Tuner, anoche le metí un poco de tiempo pero estoy intentando reducirlo y hacerlo más sencillo (me quedó muy denso, la explicación teórica es soporífera y seguro que pocos se la iban a leer al ver la extensión). Tengo unas capturitas preparadas para el tutorial y creo que se entenderá bien el manejo del System Tuner, pero si no lo "aligero" me lo vais a tirar a la cabeza. Dadme un poco de tiempo, puede que hoy lo cuelgue.

No es machacar, luego lo arreglo y pongo el enlace a la pagina de baad, que se merece cobrar ^^ gracias por la info, ya que no sabia nada sobre este tema, eh añadido al post unos pequeños resumenes tuyos, espero que no te moleste,

Gracias por la info, pero creo que la diferencia, en cuanto a la cámara, está en que la 2.2.5 SSE tiene HDR y modo panorámico, pero la 2.5.3 no los tiene (si que trae el bitrate de video y menos compresión en las fotos). Corrígeme o corregidme si me equivoco.

Creo que tienes razón. Acabo de leerme el changelog de las ROMs Insert Coin y el MOD de la cámara fue modificado en la 2.5.2 y posteriores porque daba error. Entonces el mod de la cámara en la 2.2.5 SSE es diferente al que encontramos en las versiones 2.5.X. Gracias por la corrección.

No se que pasa pero el nuevo market no me descarga nada, se queda eternamente en iniciando descarga. Ya he borrado la cache y los datos de la aplicacion y sigue igual. ¿se puede volver a la version antigua? Bueno parece que ahora va...pero un asi me gustaria saber si se puede volver a la version anterior.

Se puede volver al market antiguo. Busca el OldMarket.zip en la carpeta de addons que está en la sección de descargas de la página de baad (abajo a la izquierda) y flashéalo (wipes antes, Dalvik y cache partition). El enlace a las descargas en la página de baad lo tienes unos posts más arriba.

Hola doctorlirio! Si te interesa he hecho un word con TODO el changelog de las roms de IC, i lo he separado por títulos cronológicamente. Lo he hecho porque tenía un poco de lío con su nomenclatura, ahora lo tengo mucho más claro

On the principle that newer isn’t always better, especially when we are talking about HTC and leaked test builds, I cooked InsertCoin 2.2.5 Second Edition (SE)
I choose IC 2.2.5 as starting point because after users feedback seemed to be the best, fastest and most stable version (thou i take pride that all my builds marked stable are stable).
So i took 2.2.5 Rom, applied latest mods, tweaks, hacks and patches, and latest Bricked Kernel (v035 TEST)  and cooked the ROM.
I won’t enumerate here all the changes I’ve made because are too many, so backup your current running rom, get IC 2.2.5 SE, flash and prepare to be amazed.

On the principle that newer isn’t always better, especially when we are talking about HTC and leaked test builds, I cooked InsertCoin 2.2.5 Second Edition (SE)
I choose IC 2.2.5 as starting point because after users feedback seemed to be the best, fastest and most stable version (thou i take pride that all my builds marked stable are stable).
So i took 2.2.5 Rom, applied latest mods, tweaks, hacks and patches, and latest Bricked Kernel (v035 TEST)  and cooked the ROM.
I won’t enumerate here all the changes I’ve made because are too many, so backup your current running rom, get IC 2.2.5 SE, flash and prepare to be amazed.

SuperWipe/FullWipe: Borrado de todos los datos, apps y de la ROM. Se formatean las particiones SYSTEM, DATA, CACHE y se limpia la carpeta /sdcard/.android_secure. Se puede hacer a mano o flasheando un fichero que lo hace por nosotros (recomendable). Yo suelo usar uno de la Android Revolution HD de mike1986, que está aqui, vale para todas las ROMs.
Dalvik cache: Cuando Android arranca mira todas tus aplicaciones (.apk) y frameworks, y crea un árbol de dependencias. Este árbol se usa para optimizar el código para cada aplicación y lo guarda en la Dalvik Caché. Las aplicaciones entonces se ejecutan usando el código optimizado. Por eso cuando instalais una nueva ROM tarda mucho en arrancar la primera vez. Cada vez que una aplicación (o librería framework) cambia, es reoptimizada y la caché Dalvik es actualizada. La Dalvik suele estar localizada en la partición DATA aunque puede variar dependiendo de la ROM.
Partition Cache: Como las cachés en un ordenador, es una partición que usa Android para guardar los datos más utilizados en ese momento y acceder a ellos rápido sin tener que ir a buscar la copia original de la información.
Kernel: El kernel es el núcleo del sistema operativo, y es el proceso más importante que se ejecuta en el terminal. El kernel es el encargado de adjudicar tiempo de procesador y otros recursos al resto de procesos, sería algo así como el proceso "madre" o "controlador" de todos los demás procesos. El cambiar de kernel nos interesa porque nos puede proporcionar mejoras en la velocidad, batería, o fluidez general de nuestro terminal. Usar un kernel Custom nos permite, entre otras cosas, hacer overclock/undervolt a nuestra CPU y a la GPU de nuestro terminal, y realmente se nota la diferencia de un buen kernel custom a uno stock. Los kernels custom a veces solucionan problemas que tienen los oficiales, es el caso del kernel Android 2.3.4 oficial que viene en la RUU 1.45, que trae un bug que provoca fallos en juegos 3D intensivos, y algunos kernels custom lo solucionan (el descubridor del arreglo es show-p1984, el creador del kernel Bricked). Todas las ROMs traen un kernel ya instalado, normalmente el oficial de la base sobre la que se cocinaron, aunque algunas ROMs Custom lo traen cambiado ya por uno "mejorado". No todos los kernel funcionan en todas las ROMs, es algo que los autores suelen indicar, compruébalo bien siempre antes de flashear un kernel.
FC (Force Close): Es el término que se usa para describir cuando una aplicación falla y se cierra, lo pongo para que sepais lo que es cuando lo leais por ahí.

2.2.5 Segunda Edición
El principio de que lo nuevo es mejor no siempre es así, especialmente cuando estamos hablando de HTC y versiones de test.
Elijo IC 2.2.5 como punto de partida, porque después de información de los usuarios parecía ser el mejor, la versión más rápida y más estable.
Así que tomé 2.2.5 Rom, aplique las últimas modificaciones, ajustes, hacks y parches, y el último kernel de Bricked (v035 TEST) y rom cocinada.
No voy a enumerar aquí todos los cambios que he hecho, porque son demasiados, por lo que una copia de seguridad rom actualmente en ejecución, se IC SE 2.2.5, flash y prepárate para ser sorprendido.
