MAME4droid (port of MAME 0.37b5 from MAME Team) developed by D. Valdeita)
MAME4droid is a version of iMAME4all (Jailbroken iPhone, iPad) for Android, all of them developed by David Valdeita (Seleuco), port of MAME 0.37b5 emulator by Nicola Salmoria and TEAM, and it is based on GP2X, WIZ MAME4ALL 2.5 by Franxis.
MAME4droid emulates arcade games supported by original MAME 0.37b5 plus some additional games from newer MAME versions.
This version emulates over 2000 different romsets.
Please, try to understand that that with that amount of games, some will run better than others and some might not even run with MAME4droid.
Please, don’t email me asking for a specific game to run.
Owners of older devices should not expect good performance. Tips to help performance: use lower quality sound or switch it off, use 8 bit depth, underclock the CPU and Sound CPUs. Disable stick and buttons animations and disable smooth scaling also.
After installing, place your MAME-titled zipped roms in /sdcard/ROMs/MAME4all/roms folder.
MAME4droid uses only MAME4droid & iMAME4all uses only ’0.37b5′, ‘GP2X, WIZ 0.37b11 mame romset’. Use “clrmame.dat” file included in /sdcard/ROMs/MAME4all/ to convert romsets from other MAME versions to the ones used by this version, using ClrMAME Pro utility, available in this URL:

MAME4droid will never have “save states” since it is based on a MAME version that does not support it.

Ya lo encontre al instalar la aplicacion te pone una lista de los juegos en la carpeta ROMs para los de la neo-geo tendreis que poner las bios en la carpeta roms como si fuera un juego

Yoe bajao el aliens y el tumblepop de xperia.es alguien sabe de algun juego mas k este xulo, x cierto se juega perfect asignar los botones start y select(coin) en xperia play y kitad los controles tactiles keda mejor

A mi me gustan mucho el Mutation nation, super spy, kung fu master, toki, black tiger... hay muchos buenos

Yo por mucho q pongo la bios hay juegos q no me van!!

a mi me pasa igual, los coloco alli, le meto el neogeo.zip, y nada, el mame tiger si funciona, pero me hacia ilusion manejarlo con la interfaz del mame4droid...lo dicho..ni un minuto mas pierdo, y por supuesto a darle caña en el market.

Hay que poner juegos que sean de la ROMSET 0.37b5 para que funcionen. En la ayuda del programa hay una lista con todos los juegos compatibles, y en el fichero clrmame.dat que se crea al instalar el emulador, aparecen todos los archivos que tiene que tener cada rom para que se pueda ejecutar, así como una lista de la compatibilidad con cada uno. Incluso te dan una ayuda para convertir los juegos a la 0.37b5, aunque yo los he probado y no siempre funciona. Por favor, antes de darles caña en el market, pensad que es un trabajo brutal el que se han pegado los desarrolladores (no había ningún MAME para Java y han tenido que portarlo línea por línea desde C) y dan el mayor soporte posible. De hecho, siguen desarrollando.

Alguno de ustedes sabe como entrar en las opciones del juego una vez cargado? Canviar el nº de vidas o el nivel de dificultad etc etc . . . . ¿Se puede? y los Cheats no logro activarlos,lo pongo en ON le doy al select y Start a la vez (Que es como se activa una vez cargado el juego) y no hace nada ¿¿¿¿¿¿Ideas?????

alguien sabe como conseguir tumblepop.... no lo consigo...!!!! ya lo busque para el mame4droid y el mame 1.4.3 y si esta en las pag. de rooms pero a la hor de ejecutarlo dice ARchivo NOT FOUND.. y no lo abre .. quiero conseguir este juego x favor pasenmelo.!!!
