[Tutorial] Desbloquear Bootloader e intalar TWRP y Root

Antes que nada, agradezco a @pray4hope por este tutorial que hizo para el LG G4 que también sirve para el LG G6. Yo he modificado los enlaces de descarga para adaptarlos al G6.

Requisitos:

G6 (H870) Europeo

Android-SDK http://dl.google.com/android/install....2-windows.exe

TWRP 3.1.1 UNOFFICIAL (H870) Descarga

Supersu v2.82 Descarga

Desbloquear Bootloader Enlace LG Developers

Nos borrará la tarjeta sd interna, la externa nos la dejará intacta.
Registraros en la página y seguid los pasos. Es muy muy fácil. No tengo tiempo de traducirlo, y para poner una traducción chunga desde google traslator...paso

1. Click Starting Unlocking the Bootloader at the bottom of this page to start the bootloader unlock process. If you are not logged into your account, we ask that you log in.

2. Legal Terms will be displayed on your screen. After reading the terms, if you would like to continue to unlock the Bootloader, then click I Accept.

3. Your name and email address will be displayed. Check your name and email address. If you want to change your email address, click Change. You must verify your new email address after changing it.

4. Enter the first 15 digits of your phone’s IMEI number. You can view the IMEI number by entering *#06# on your phone or selecting the Settings >> About phone >> Status >> IMEI menu.

5. Download and install the latest Android SDK (adb.exe, AdbWinApi.dll, fastboot.exe) from developer.android.com

6. Create a new folder (for example: C:\tools) and copy the following three files to the new folder:
• Adb.exe
• AdbWinApi.dll
• Fastboot.exe

You can find these three files from: sdk\platform-tools

7. Enable USB-Debugging on your phone. USB-Debugging is required for the commands “adb” and “fastboot” to work. To enable USB-Debugging, go to Settings >> About phone >> Software info and tap Build number 7 times. Return to the previous screen, select Developer options and enable USB-Debugging.

8. Enable OEM unlock on your phone. Activating the "Enable OEM unlock" is necessary for the bootloader unlock. To enable OEM unlock, go to Settings >> Developer options and check Enable OEM unlock.

9. Enter your phone’s unique Device ID. You can view the Device ID by connecting your phone to the PC using a USB cable and entering "adb reboot bootloader" in DOS command window of the folder you created in previous step (for example: C:\tools). Your phone will reboot into the fastboot mode. Enter "fastboot oem device-id" in DOS command window.

10. This fastboot command will return a character string. This is the Device ID which is needed to generate your unique unlock key.

To generate your unlock key, you will need to paste together the 2 lines of output into one continuous string without "(bootloader)" or white spaces. In the example above, the Device ID would be:

CD58B679A38D6B613ED518F37A05E013F93190BD558261DBBC 5584E8EF8789B1

11. Click Confirm. If your IMEI number and Device ID are valid, the bootloader unlock key will be sent to your email.

12. Download your bootloader unlock key to your phone by connecting your phone to PC using USB cable and entering "adb reboot bootloader" in DOS command window.

13. Your phone will reboot into the fastboot mode.

14. Go to the directory where you downloaded your bootloader unlock key.

15. Enter "fastboot flash unlock unlock.bin " in DOS command window.
“unlock.bin” is the bootloader unlock key you received in the email.

Instalar Recovery

1. Antes de poder instalar el recovery debemos reiniciar el movil y activar las opciones de desarrollo pulsando varias veces. Ajustes-acerca del telefono-informacion de software y pulsando varias veces en numero de compilación. Ahora nos aparecerá en ajustes las opciones avanzadas. Activamos la casilla depuracion USB y tildar "Permitir desbloqueo de OEM" y nos conectamos por cable al pc.
2. Ahora vamos a meter el archivo UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.82.zip a la raiz del telefono
3. En nuestra carpeta donde tengamos los comandos adb, vamos a dejar el recovery que hemos descargado "twrp-3.1.1-0-h870.img"
4. Entrar al recovery de esta manera: gracias @gelprofe por la correción. Cuando salga TWRP oficial ya pondré el comando que toca

A continuación para entrar en recovery tenemos que teclear:
fastboot reboot e inmediatamente al mismo tiempo que damos enter en el pc pulsamos en el móvil Vol- mas power y soltamos power cuando salga el logo de Lg e inmediatamente sin soltar Vol- pulsamos de nuevo power hasta que salga el menú de reinicio pulsamos yes..yes y entraremos en twrp. Este recovery modificado solo reconoce la memoria externa por lo que el superuser o magisk lo tendréis que copiar ahí antes de nada.. Espero os sirva yo lo he hecho asi y sin problema.

Si queremos volver a bloquear el bootloader escribimos en el fastboot:
fastboot oem lock

Este recovery al no ser oficial no tiene la opción al entrar en el por primera vez de formatear data para poder desencriptar el móvil por lo que tendremos que hacerlo siempre con un desbloqueo del bootloader ya que haciendolo asi inmediatamente después sin reiniciar el movil se formatea data y queda desencriptado.

5. Tecleamos fastboot flash recovery TWRP-3.1.1-0-h870.img


Root

1. Desde el Recovery debemos dar a install, buscamos nuestro archivo UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.82.zip que estará en la raíz y lo flasheamos. Ya podemos darle a Reboot y tendremos todo listo.

Es mi primer LG, y pensaba que se pierde la garantía al hacerlo.
Me interesa el root para quitar algunas aplicaciones de bloatware.

que tipo de problemas??
hubo mucha gente con el G4 que el sat no se lo arregló por tener el boot abierto, si me dices que es por el puerto de carga puede que lo arreglen, pero si es algo de la placa no sé yo..

Creo que lo que te dejan de cubrir son fallos de sw, el hw si debería de protegerlo

Si alguien lo ha desbloqueado..q compruebe si se puede volver a bloquear al igual q en el g5.. ( oem lock)..

claro, si se pudiese volver a bloquear otra cosa seria. Por el momento no quiero meterle mano ya que llevo con él 2 dias y con tantos problemas que tiene Lg, no me arriesgaria. Tal vez cuando ya sea mas seguro y otros usuarios reporten cero problemas.

Se refiere a que no cubre problemas de software (con una custom rom). Y los problemas de software se resuelven flasheando un kdz.
Así que no hay problema con la garantia.

A mi solo me interesa el root de momento para quitar apps que no me interesan.
También habría que ver si se puede volver a bloquear el bootloader de nuevo.

Ya sé que hay opiniones para todo ... Sin ánimo de entrar en polémica , yo e llevado siempre al SAT móviles con bootloader desbloqueado (g3, g4 ) y con knox (s3,s4,s5,s6 y s7) y nunca me han puesto pegas , eso si cada uno bajo su responsabilidad que haga lo que quiera
Yo no e probado ni e intentado volver a bloquearlo , pero si lo hago os cuento ...

Y ya está el xposed?? Que es lo que la mayoria queremos luego del root...

Tambien para eliminar aplicaciones, controlar canciones con los botones de volumen y no recuerdo que mas hacia jaja.

A todo esto, cuál es la diferencia del H870 europeo al H870 sudamericano? Por lo menos acá en Chile es el H870 también.

No me hagas mucho caso , pero creo que son iguales , pero cuando pides el archivo que te mandan para el desbloqueo , miran de que región es ... Osea que si ven que no es europeo no te lo mandan ... O galgo así jjjjjj

No se trata de opiniones. El ultimo Android que tuve fue un S2 que como te podrás imaginar sufrió de todo con ROMs. Pero todo era reversible si te hacia falta. Este es mi primer LG, y de ahí las dudas con estos procesos. Si dices que no pasa nada, o al menos es tu experiencia, pues mejor.

Yo me cargué un lg g3 poniéndole cyanogenmod y me cambiaron la placa en el sat oficial sin ponerme ninguna pega
