(in English) G4 1850 - compatibility/upgrade to 3000
Greetings to friends from Spain
We are having a discussion on a Greek forum, regarding the "option" offered from a Chinese seller, concerning Jiayu G4 (latest 6589T model) According to seller, G4 "thin" (with 1850mAh battery) model can accept easily the 3000mAh battery and a "large" back cover, making it easy to use both solutions (batteries) (with +$15) Has anyone tried this solution (as presented in this )? Any comments, especially from personal experience? Do you believe that the same ROM will be OK for both batteries (1850 and 3000mAh)? |

I didn't try it personally with this phone, but the rom don't depends of the battery.

Update:
Received G4 (1850) with additional "large" cover and 3000 battery 1850 (G4) 3000 (G4) 2750 (G3S) THIN, 1850 (as sold) THIN, 3000 (as offered from seller) THIN, 3000, thin cover (not closing) Comparing THIN and THICK covers and on main "subject": G4 thin version, with 3000mAh battery and thick cover (red I to indicate "gap" in camera and LED flash hole) detail Conclusion: Not the best solution (there is a gap of 2mm at the holes of camera and LED flash) but not so dramatic..., G4 is fully functional (and camera works) Última edición por asot Día 29/09/13 a las 21:32:48. |
