Sorry but this ain't a tablet !!! This is a phone , i think that Sim is really necessary for its most important function .
WiFi is important but nothing compared to the Sim

Mobile data does NOT work in this CM ROM so why trying to fix SIM card when there is no mobile data? And if you fix the wifi issue you will fix mobile data and SIM cards too!

The problem is that TWRP dont give option of flash modem.img in modem partition.
We need to find a solution to install modem files in modem partition..

I saw that post, the only way to flash modem would be using fastboot flash modem.img, feel free to try that way and post the results...

Vodafone create a new smartphone - smart prime 7 which contains Android marshmallow and similar especifications, can someone download that ROM and import at smart prime 6?

I recomend to use the BQ E5 4G for ports, the phone is pratically the same , has out recovery came from the E5 4G ;)
