If someone needed rom miui v6 based on aosp 4.4.2 kitkat, then I have the latest version 5.4.17, I update them every week after the official miui roms updated. But these firmware work well on explay hd quad (russia) and lawa xolo q1000 (india) it is a clone of your bq aquaris 5hd and I do not know how this rom will work on your phone. If someone wants to test, I can give the link to rom.

Before installation you need make backup imei/nvram in mtkdroidtools, sometimes imei lost, so if you can not restore imei, do not install the firmware.

What kitkat version you have installed? Stock of Aquaris 5 HD or aosp Kitkat? It is important... in these different memory layout...
First of all, you must install aosp kitkat 4.4.2 using SP_Flash_Tool_v3.1316.0.148, after that you can install miui V6. If you install miui on the stock Kitkat from aquaris you can lose imei and baseband... Última edición por sicmosh83 Día 20/04/15 a las 17:57:26

We have the same phone with you, different only rear camera. On my phone works your official kitkat v2.1.0 rom from bq aquaris 5hd, not works only camera... so aosp kitkat should work on your phone and miui too, the problem may be with the camera only...

Tener el mismo procesador o resolución de pantalla no es lo mismo que ser clon. El xolo q1000 es clon (el otro del que habla no lo conocía). Meter el zip de hard reset del xolo q1000 debería bootear sin problemas, pero otro fallo es que, que yo sepa, tiene la sd interna en particiones.
