Introduction
Maybe some of you have already seen the original thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=814908), but as we've actually started working on this project now, I think it deserves a new and proper thread.
It's still very much a concept, and over time, things will most likely change and improve, but I'll be keeping this thread up to date and collect feedback from you guys to make this the best Android Homescreen Launcher to date!
So, what is 'Slick UI'?
Like other apps, such as LauncherPro or ADW, Slick UI is a Homescreen-replacement Launcher. It will replace your stock homescreen and add in some great new, more functional and aesthetically pleasing features to make the everyday use of your Android-phone more... well, fun!
The goal of this project is to make the Launcher silky smooth, functional and highly customizable.
Sounds great, but how does it look?
Below, you'll find the first 'sketches' and a fully animated videodemo of what you can expect from Slick UI.

How far along is the project?
Don't get too excited yet! Work has just started, so don't expect anything that actually works soon. There is a lot of work to be done, and we really have to think this through if we want it to 'feel' right.
In the future, we might require some testers to report back on bugs etc, but for now I'd like you to just tell us how you think it looks and let us know what features you would like to see implemented.

Feature: Customizable content-wheel (WonderWheel)

If you want to help us out, because you have mad coding skills and experience with Android, be sure to send me a PM.
I'll be doing most of the graphics, but if you feel like helping out with things like icons or other stuff, just let me know!
