[ROM] Vodafone Smart Grand 6 Stock ROM (VF-696)

Hello everyone!
This tutorial is aimed for Smart Grand 6, but it could work one another Mediatek smartphone (Alcatel, Panasonic, etc) as long as your model appears on the list.

Requirements:

• SUGAR MTK SP 3.5.8: https://androidmtk.com/download-sugar-mtk-sp-flash-tool

Steps:

1. Download and install the SUGAR MTK SP
2. IMPORTANT! Check Install Driver at the end of the installation!
3. Go to C:\SUGAR_MTK_SP\tool and open SUGAR MTK_SP.exe
4. Enter the username and password provided in the archive. For the record I paste them in here:
   User: SU_IN.Panasonic
   Password: KoD8naL2
5. IMPORTANT! DO NOT UPDATE when it asks to do so. If you do, you lose the option to flash this phone!
6. Select V696 from Product Models and press the Upgrade button WITH THE PHONE UNPLUGGED
7. Turn off your phone, then WITH THE PHONE OFF plug it in the computer. It should start flashing by now.
8. If it says that the phone is rooted, tell it to flash it anyway. It will take some time, and if your internet is slow it can take several hours. After you download it the first time, the next time it will be way faster.
9. After it ended, it will display a message. The phone should auto restart. If not, unplug it, remove the battery, put it on and start the phone
10. After 5-10 minutes it should be ready for use!
