whats wrong with gapps already installed in the rom?

I cant move play store and google play services to /system/app with link2sd, so they are right now occupying my internal memory (which sucks), and the gapps of the ROM are minimal, I use Maps, Google+ and the ROM doesnt have them so I have to install them through Play Store and transfer them to /system/app manually.
I prefer to choose the gapps package I want to install.

I agree, I could simply delete all Google apps and flash gapps with twrp
I really want the camera to work..

Its simple: a lot of alternatives are better, smaller, faster, more powerful than gapps

So after a couple of days of use I've found some bugs:

- USB tethering doesn't work;

- Automatic Live Display doesn't work, I have to set it manually (ON/OFF);

- Setting Auto-Rotate works in a curious way lol not sure if this is a bug or it's how it works in CM, instead of returning to portrait when you switch Auto-Rotate off, it stays in the view in which you are at the moment.

- As I've said before the Auto brightness is a little confused, it stays in max brightness even if you're literally in the dark.

- Compass is messed up as well, at least in maps as others have said.

- I'm getting random reboots every now and then, I've had two of them in the same day and while using Telegram.

I'll edit this if I think of something else.

The main developer said he was going to take a break from development. Besides, if he lives in the northern hemisphere, it's summer time.

OK, for those who are interested in, I just discovered that the "donor" (the original device ROM source) should be the Xiaomi Redmi 2

I think that we already have enough ROM's even if they have a lot of bugs they are still very usable and I'm soon going to buy a new phone so my Prime 6 will only be used for emergencies.

Did you notice that just now?
Redmi2 is the donor yes, but if the CM was built from source for
our devices would be mucch better..
