Si me gusta con mucho golpe pero que tampoco enborrone el resto me diras que estoy loco pero hasta ahora le falta ese grave que no encuentro de mexios y agudos de 10 y con la combinacion de e qualizser mas audio beats de 10 en graves pero los mexios muy latosos me parecian igualmente ya me llega el fiio x3 asi que no me voy a morir por no encontrar un sonidazo con el s4

Here are my steps for getting working FULLY as a system app on my S4 (att version) running slimbean ROM 4.3b4. Cannot guarantee it will work for everyone.

Kinda step intensive, but I tried at least 12 different ways....



1. Download Viper4Android_fx_2211_4.3_en.zip (this corrected zip is in the thread somewhere maybe someone could help out and post the link...)

2. Extract and rename the extracted apk to Viper4Android_FX.apk (specifically this, having it named this Viper4Android_fx.apk didn't work)

3. Don't do anything with apk yet.....

4. Uninstall DSP manager

5. Change build.prop lpa.decode=false

6. Reboot

7. Manually copy ("moving" from internal sdcard or external SD card did not work) Viper4Android_FX.apk in system/app

8.manually change permissions to 644

9.manually change ownership to
Owner: root
Group: root

10. Reboot

11. Once restarted continuous notification should be present in notification bar. Open app manager, find viper, uncheckmark "notifications". It'll give you a warning click OK and poof constant notification should be gone

12.go to sound/music effects in system settings and click on V4A (this has to be done BEFORE installing the driver! Important!)

13. Go to V4A app and open

14. Grant superuser rights

15. Install driver (for jflteatt varients its the Cortex8 driver... Others vary, check OP for your phone)

16. Select OK after it installs.

17. DON'T touch any settings....

18. Reboot into RECOVERY.

19. wipe cache, dalvik cache, fix permissions and reboot

20. Now go into V4A app and turn on V4A audio and change settings to your preference.

21. Last (but I found equally important as the rest) reboot TWICE (once didn't hold)

22. Listen to music, have your ears profit from this AWESOME mod!


Just got back from driving on an 18 trip, to Google Play Music nearly the whole time, the driver never cut out. ( it did on my way out with a barely different installation process....)

I hope this helps others get this working

Hola angel por favor ayuda de repente.prendo el cel y sale el reproductor de musica funcionando y el viper desactivado me fijo y sale en conf. Sonido activo probe a reinsatalar el driver y nada que podra ser.

Desinstala el driver y reinicia. Vuelve a instalar el driver y vuelves a reiniciar.
Por cada vez que Desinstales e/o instales el driver tienes que reiniciar el móvil.

Nueva actualizacion . Creo que resuelve algunos problemas en la instalacion en 4.3

Angel ya me funciona el fx pero no el xhifi que la verdad mejora aun mas el sonido si le meto una version mas vieja?

A ver chicos, os estaís liando un poco o eso creo yo.
Yo por ejemplo me encanta escuchar música y con las restricciones de la UE a Samsung me jodieron. Total que con TRWP instale un zip que lo saqué de la página de xda y va perfecto. Estoy en 4.2.2 con la rom de Samsung, no sé si funcionará para otra.
Pongo los links aquí por si alguien le interesa, probad esto y vereís que pasada la verdad, no podreís escuchar la música al máximo seguro jeje.
Y si quereís volver al nivel original también os lo pondré aquí en otro momento porque no lo tengo a mano, sólo pedidlo o enviadme un mp.

Si te funciona no lo toques . no tiene mejoras , solo es para los que tienen problemas al instalar en 4.3

me ha costado un huevo pero lo he hecho funcionar. se nota bastante pero se pierdd calidad de sonido si subed mucho la ganancia

lo probé por bluetooth y tambien se nota, y mucho jeje, el coche sonaba diferente, mejor que con cualquier cd que le metiera, cosa que antes no pasaba
