[ CONSULTA ] bloqueo teléfono con Norton lite

He perdido esta tarde mi SG sII :-(. La sim ya está anulada y ya tengo la nueva. Para bloquear el teléfono he mandado un sms con el código de Norton Lite, que tenia instalado. Pero mucho me temo que la tarjeta sim ya no estaba puesta en el terminal. Mi pregunta es, si pongo la nueva sim en otro teléfono, lo bloqueará? Llegará el sms a la nueva sim?

¿Cómo puedo desactivar ese SMS para que no bloquee el nuevo terminal?

(el termina lperdido tambien lo pedí bloquear en atencion al cliente de orange).

Fácil, llamas de nuevo a tu compañía, les dices lo sucedido y punto. Probablemtente te pidan credenciales para corroborar que eres el dueño y punto.

No entiendo tu respuesta. Se bloqueará el teléfono en el que ponga la sim o no? Porqué si es es de un amigo poca gracia le hará... Tengo sim nueva, pero no terminal. Por eso quería saber si al no haber llegado el sms con el código de bloqueo al teléfono perdido (puesto que creo que ya habían quitado la sim), llegará al teléfono en el que ponga el duplicado de la sim.

Hi Yinka

Welcome to the Norton Community Forums.

If the lost device had your old sim in it before you cancelled it and the
device was switched on and signal range to receive the Lock SMS it
should now be locked, requiring a passcode to unlock it.

If the sim card was not in contact with terminal then it will not recieve
the SMS remote command of Lock.

And with the fear of the SMS Lock command locking another phone i do
not think that is possible as the Norton Mobile Security (NMS) Lite app
and passcode were linked and registered to that particular device.

Not so much the actual mobile number although as far as i know the number
is just part of the activation process to Lock, so if you know the mobile number
of what ever sim is in the device just simply SMS the lock XXXX command and
passcode to the device.(XXXX being the 4 digit passcode.) and the device should
lock.

So when you install and activate NMS Lite on another device you will get a new
passcode for the device.
