you must have a strong CPU and lots of RAM on it, as it takes lots of horse power to compile everything on a reasonable time, thanks anyway, do you have dual boot (Windows + Linux) or just Linux?

I have a laptop with Intel i7 (Dual core with HT) 16GB RAM and 500 GB on /home for sources. I have an SSD I don't like use it by the moment. The time average of compilation are 2-3h (min: 1h30 with XenonHD. Max: 3h with DotOS). I compile when I'm on classroom.
