[ TUTORIAL ] Kn0x0ut Toolbox - Flashear ROMs, Mods, etc con el KNOX 0X00

Buenas, la cosa va avanzando poco a poco y ya ha salido un script para flashear de todo sin recovery, aquí lo tenéis:

Por lo que he leído es muy fácil,

1 - hay que tener root y bajar Android terminal
2 - Meter la rom o lo que queramos meter en la carpeta que creamos al bajar el kn0x0ut toolbox
3 - llegar con comandos al script y usar lo que queramos. En nuestro caso seria el new_rom, que hace wipe data, wipe cache, dalvik, instala rom y reinicia.

ya lo han conseguido. Resulta que existe un archivo dentro del kernel o algo así, que editándolo hexadecimalmente puedes cambiar el knox a 0. Lo único que al reiniciar, el efuse empieza entra en funcionamiento y vuelve a ponerse en 1. Ahora lo que están investigando es como desactivar el efuse cada vez que se reinicia.

Intento hacer una copia del efs y tampoco.
Alguien más lo ha intentado?

yo la verdad que no he podido probarlo aún... porque me saltaría el knox al hacer root. Pero por lo que leo en la segunda opción, aparece Done! al final no? o hay algún error que me he saltado?

kn0x0ut v2.00 should be done this weekend I think.

It will include the ability to install zip, tar (and folders as before) roms and mods.
You will be able to backup system and data.
And theoretically (this needs testing for data, for system it should work 100%) you can restore these backups back with kn0x0ut later.

The mod installation and the script overall has been totally edited.

Instead of having to put each mod inside the script individually there is a automatic mod detection now.
At this stage this shouldnt be used to create own mods (yet) because it needs the files to be in a certain structure to work and not cause problems. (there is no removal of unsupported files for mod installations, so the mod files need to be cleaned and have the right folder structure before adding)

On top of that it will include a command to install kn0x0ut (as well as a standalone fix_permissions and backup_permissions command) to /system/xbin for easier usage in terminal or adb.

Currently (at v.2.00 when its released) kn0x0ut expects to find its folder on the external SD card (/mnt/extSdCard/kn0x0ut) but its planned (and maybe it will even be already included) to be able to set and store the path to the kn0x0ut folder in a settings file.

I will be using /data/media for creating a temporary folder for extracted files, because this folder will be: a) left untouched on all actions b) has plenty of space available usually c) allows for file permissions, which is important for backup restore, which otherwise would lose all file permissions.

The described functionalities are there already 99% - but I need to test things first. (its a quite big script now, and I have just been programming, no testing yet, so there will probably be some syntax errors left). Plus some other things left to be done.

But its worth the wait, trust me

Yo lo probé, la v 2.02...intentando instalar cerberus vía zip y el resultado fue... Reinstalar la rom de stock vía Odin Xddd.
Me empezó a dar procesos detenidos y luego no volvía a encender XD.
Pero bueno, yo sigo explorando..si consigo algo aviso.
