ChronicKernel

Kernel now based on Bruce's kernel with a few changes by me, including:

* Compiled with linaro
* Set flash to disable if battery is below 10% to prevent the random shut-off when taking a pic
* Removed/Disabled KSM
* Removed ZRAM
* User-configurable GPU OC (Not OC'd by default)
* Optimized and compiled with with the "Optimize a lot, or -o3 option)
* Added more I/O schedulers
* Tweaked voltages a bit
* Reverted CRT hack to smooth animation in Android 4.4
* Increased PMEM_MDP as it is needed in Android 4.4 to fix soft-reboots
* PM_FAST enabled by default (high power wi-fi when screen is off)

These settings were changed by me to help make the kernel more stable with our ROM, observed with tests by me. If you want more features of the Sultan kernel feel free to flash it, but support will not be provided in this thread.

Other Features of the kernel include:

* OC to 1866Mhtz (default 1566Mhtz)
* Undervolted
* User-configurable CPU OC
* User-configurable CPU default governor (ondemand = default)
* User-configurable I/O scheduler (default = SIO)
* User-configurable badass gonvernor (default = balanced)
* Sweep2wake

You can edit many of the settings in /system/etc/init.d/99kernel, here is a snippet of the script with all the config options

Hola os comento que el update de esta Rom esta dando problemas con el registro del telefono en la red del operador, al parecer esta ya buscando una solucion, pero mientras tanto se soluciona flasheando de nuevo el este Kernel

yo igual presente muchos FC no pude entrar ni a la pantalla de bienvenida, me funciono mejor el de nikez pero a esperar y tener paciencia que vamos por buen camino

pues nada, no hay forma. He leido en XDA que es algo generalizado, asi que toca esperar. Ya que tengo la tarjeta formateada y limpia, voy a probar la de nikez a ver que tal va.



EDITADO:

La de nikez funciona, pero no puedo subirle la CPU y por defecto viene a 1.2 La veo muy parecida a una jellybeam, de echo si me enseñasen el movil no sabría decir si es 4.4 o 4.3

Ahora estoy instalando las gapps que han puesto en este post, a ver si consigo que funcionen sin FC´s y luego no sé si le cambiaré el kernel por uno de sultan a ver si funciona o no.

Yo tambien lo dejo por ahora da muchos FC hay que esperar a que la pulan mas y salgan versiones mas estables.

La de nikez si funciona, le he puesto las gapps de este hilo y van bien, por ahora parece que funciona. No le vi ningun problema, salvo que no se activa la batería con porcentaje. Eso y que los tonos de notificaciones y del teléfono, no funcionan casi ninguno, sale el nombre de la pista de audio para elegir, pero si lo marcas no suena nada, solo algunos funcionan.

Por lo demás, seguiré probando a ver, voy a copiar mis app´s de nuevo a la tarjeta y restaurarlas a ver que tal, y probar otro kernel.


EDITADO:

Kernel 44.5 de sultan instalado, todo funcionando, CPU subida de vueltas hasta 1.67, ahora vuela la ROM, por ahora claro. Descargando antutu para probar resultados, siempre me gusta pasarle este test para comprobar rendimiento. Cuando termine, paso mis app´s a la tarjeta y restauro. Voy a dejarla puesta, parece que no va mal. Y ya dejo de dar la lata en el hilo que me estoy volviendo muy visto
