[Tutorial] zte geek v975 problem after put sim card

I need help I bought 6 pcs zte v975 from aliexpress.com for use in Iran country ,
there is big problem , phone wifi before insert sim work very good , but after insert sim wifi don't work and need to foctory recet to work without sim , please help me if any one know how to solve this problem , thanks

Hace ya meses según me confirmaron no una sino varias tiendas de accesorios de aliexpress que el ZTE Geek dejó de fabricarse, por lo que todo lo que venden ahora los chinos es material remanufacturado o de segunda mano reparado. Amigo diría que te han vendido un lote de telefonos defectuosos porque el Wifi no tiene nada que ver con la red movil, son 2 chips diferentes.

Pero también me extraña esa relación que haces entre la tarjeta SIM y el WIFI, por probar te diría que flashearas de nuevo el telefono por cable, no por recovery, utiliza la herramienta flashtool para realizar una instalación como recien sacado de fábrica.

hello , thanks Nacor79 for answer , but all ZTE geek has problems using Iranian Sim card , this isn't only my problem and all other ZTE Geek in Iranian people using this phone , also we had same problem using Lenevo K900 because both CPU is intel z2580 , we can solve Lenovo k900 problem using wifix software after rooting phone but in ZTE geek wifix and same software can not solve the problem , also I changed phone Rom to several version but problem didn't solved , please help me if any one know what is problem ,

I have one idea: you can use Sim card when you need. For example, if you are at home, activate "plane mode", (deactivate SIM card) and you can use WIFI, no?

Entonces entiendo que el problema es generalizado, la verdad es que realmente no entiendo bien del todo lo que te ocurre, dices que el problema aparece con la tarjeta SIM y el WIFI. A ver si me aclaro, el telefono funciona bien sin tarjeta SIM pero al momento de insertarla comienza a fallar el WIFI, después dices que necesitas resetearlo, en España resetear el telefono es hacerle un wipe_all por recovery o software, ¿eso es lo que haces? Hacerle un wipe o ¿es simplemente reiniciarlo de nuevo?

Depués me has comentado que en modelo K900 el problema se arregla con WIFIX, por lo que con eso me das a entender que el problema no es la tarjeta SIM, sino el WIFI. Lo que yo haría entonces es seguir el método o tutorial que en su día hice, te paso el enlace. Concretamente haría solo el método 4.

Como siempre recomiendo, el tutorial de la mejora del wifi es mejor hacerlo con el telefono recien flasheado, sobre una instalación limpia, mejor si se realiza por cable ya que de esta forma nos aseguramos de dejarlo al 100% como de fábrica.
