ROM flasher file itself is Multitool and having some extra option like
-Aroma updated with new binary to remove some glitch and optimized touch sensitivity and bigger fonts
-Inbuilt Aroma file manager in case anything go wrong while playing device with different mods, you can manage to explore device from recovery
-EFS Backup/Restore
-Customized Bloatware remover, select only app you don't want.(including Knox)
-LockScreen Password cleaner
-GPS changer (select according your location)

Dr.Ketan Utilities
You can access this by Setting-device-DrKetan ROM Extra OR from App drawer. This utility requires plug in called Secure setting. It should auto install while flashing ROM. you should check in app drawer, if it is missing then you should download from play store.(you can find it here in post #5 too.)

This application is built-in Dr.Ketan's Custom ROM. This application divided in four menu. Also note that you needs to install plug-in to work this app. On opening of app it will direct to play store to install plug in if your device lacking it.
1.Toggles - As name suggest here in this menu you will have many Toggles which you can use to activate/Deactivate services.

Single tap on icon to activate, Long click on icon to deactivate

Incoming Call Record - This will record all incoming calls. File will be saved in IntSD/Sounds/ folder. (If you dont have this folder then manually create it.)
Outgoing Call Record - This will record all Outgoing calls. File will be saved in IntSD/Sounds/ folder. (If you dont have this folder then manually create it.)
Auto GPS - Will Auto On/Off GPS with some commonly GPS using app
Auto Wifi - Auto switch off wifi if no active connection more than 10min
Auto Bluetooth - Auto switch off bluetooth if not actively paired more than 10min
Smart Network - Switch off data connection with 30sec of screen off, Auto ON with screen ON
Media scanner - To turn On/Off media scanner
Torch - Activate flash light with shaking of device with screen (home/Lock) ON
LogIn security - silently capture image is multiple failed attempt to unlock device,pic stored in IntSD/DCIM/DrKetan_utilities

¿Sabes cuanto tardó desde que finaliza la instalación en el Aroma y sale el logo de SAMSUNG con el led de notificaciones en azul parpadeando?

Yo ya he hecho de todo y de ahí no paso.

Cierto, con el multitool, pero antes de modificar algo te da la opción de hacer un backup. Esa herramienta creo que es el instalador de Aroma.

Refloto este post pk creo k es una de las mejores rom que hay actualmente para el note 2 y esk el dr ketan es uno de los mejores cocineros k andan por el foro del note 2 en xda, acaba de actualizar a la V.8 y va increible http://d-h.st/EKM

Lo refloto un poquito más, colaboro que es una por no decir la mejor rom para el note 2.
Dr.Ketan es un genio.

Son buenas las roms de ketan, pero lo mejor que ha hecho este hombre es darnos herramientas stock para reparar nuestro note2 y un sin fin de soluciones en infinidad de problemas.
Las instalaciones de sus roms para mi son un poco espesas y para el user principiante y no tan principiante se vuelve loco seleccionando.
Tengo pendiente probarla pero no sera difetente a la v7 creo que ha añadido los unos efectos a la pantalla de bloqueo y ya esta, lo bueno es que hubiera hecho que el ultimo firm fne1 pero ya no puede seguir mas con el n2 desde hace tiempo aun asi nos ha dado kk. ;)

Aun asi sigue siendo una de las mejores rom super estable aunk no tenga la ultima base k tampoco cambia tanto de la anterior

Intente instalarla. ..pero el aroma me tiró un monton d carpetas y no supe q hacer ckn ellas asi q instale usando multi tool...pero nunca me pasó d las letras d samsung y me costó entrar en recovery para volver al backup

Esta es sin duda una de las mejores, primero no da FC y después puedo decir que lo que se refiere a memoria ram es la mas lite, y eso que llevo cualquier cantidad de aplicaciones y Muchas cosas del S5.

Leí todo el post y el link a forumxda, y no me animo a instalarla, son un montón de cosas que nunca hice.
Ganas tengo peeeeeero.......hasta ahora sólo sé hacer wipes, format e instal zip, con cwm.
Por lo que veo no es para principiantes..!!

Vengo de la ditto note la cual en su última versión me daba demasiados problemas. He instalado la versión 8 de Dr. Kettan y tengo que decir que va fantástica. Instalación muy sencilla gracias a aroma.
Ariel34, es muy fácil de instalar. Prepárate todo lo que tienes que instalar.

1.Download DrKetan's Custom ROM (see at end of this post)and copy downloaded file to Sd card (Preferable Int SD) Yo la pongo en la SD Externa porque formateo la interna

2.You needs CWM. I recommend Philz recovery. (If you don't know how to get it, look my signature for MultiTool and read post#1 for detail guide about how to flash CWM)

3.Reboot device to recovery (Vol up+Home+power)

4 - from recovery Select wipe data and in next menu select second option (wipe for flashing new rom)


5.Select intall zip and select file you have copied.

6.This will start Aroma, and after agreement and index you will find main Menu, You have to select Proceed with ROM flasher and MultiTool(see image below)


Una vez que arranque AROMA, recuerda seleccionar hacer copia de la EFS !!!!

Por lo demás, es seleccionar lo que quieres instalar. Si no sabes bien lo que es, déjalo como está (por defecto).

Yo he instalado la [4.4.2] KITKAT "DN3 PLUS V 5.2" Electron-Team (instalador Aroma) &&& **10.06.2014** unicamente instalndo en el movil el ROM MANAGER, haciendo wipes y installzip. Me ha salido bien aunque algunas cosas fallan. Para instalar esta seria lo mismo o es necesario hacer algo mas? Ya que hablan tn bien de esta, no me importaria probarla y ver en que mejora mi note2.

Pues no lo sé. En teoría debería funcionar, pero no lo sé seguro. Como ya tienes la DN3 ya tienes el bootloader. Entra en recovery , haces los wipes, e instalas. La instalación en sí es igual a través de aroma. Marca hacer copia seguridad de EFS !!!

Por cierto. Pulsando 3 veces sobre el icono de la batería te sale el menú para cambiar su apariencia... SUPER CHULO !!!!
