Consultando en otra parte encontré que algo llegara a falla que lo intentara de la siguiente manera:
From a powered off state, hold VOLUME DOWN while powering on the device.
Use the volume buttons to scroll to FASTBOOT and then press the POWER button to select it
Connect the device to the PC while in this state and attempt the ROM update again.
ahora el detalle esta que cuando hago eso mi dispositivo no es reconocido por la pc, tengo los drivers instalados y todo, en otro foro una persona tenia ese mismo problema y dijo que reinstalando el recovery le funciono, la cosa seria si instalo otro recovery me aceptara la room official de at&t ?
