Los que tenéis bootloader bloqueado podéis probar esta solución a ver qué tal, he leído por el foro de miui que a alguien le ha funcionado:
try to install MIsuite3.0 beta on your PC, and make sure you copy the english localization files. you can download here:
http://en.miui.com/thread-2238273-1-1.html
then download the 9.5.2.0 global rom ZIP (not the fastboot one) but no need to uncompress the zip file
boot your mi5 phone into recovery mode (volume up + power), select "connect via MIassistant", connect to your computer via usb, and then run Misuite3.0beta and flash the rom ZIP
