Para poner punto y final al tema, copio a continuación el fragmento de licencia de Google sobre la ROM oficial de HTC que se ha de instalar antes de instalar la mía:

1. Google Software License from Google
   1. Subject to the terms of this License Agreement, Google grants you a limited, worldwide, royalty-free, non-assignable and non-exclusive license to use the Google Software solely to run the Android platform on your Android Developer Phone.
   2. You agree that Google owns all legal right, title and interest in and to the Google Software, including any Intellectual Property Rights that subsist in the Google Software.
   3. You may not copy (except for backup purposes), modify, adapt, redistribute, decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or create derivative works of the Google Software or any part of the Google Software. You may only load the Google Software onto the Android Developer Phone 1, and except in conjunction with third party software that makes up the Android system image, you may not combine any part of the Google Software with other software, or distribute any software or device incorporating a part of the Google Software.

En resumen y sin tecnicismos: El software de Google incluido en esta ROM solo puede ir en esta ROM y queda prohibido copiaro y distribuirlo.
