Muy buenas!
He empezado a probar las guias para realizar el rooteo...y la cuestion es que NO arrancaba..una y otra vez NADA...que NO arrancaba!
Me he dicho...buh...a esperar algo potente para instalar la ROM oficial por defecto.
Hasta que he visto esta pagina...lo he provado y voilá...ROOTEADA!!!!

Primero estos pasos:

Step 1. Put your Nexus 10 into Bootloader mode by turning off your Nexus 10. Then hold down Volume Up, Volume Down, and Power buttons together.
Step 2. Once in bootloader menus, connect a micro USB cable from your Nexus 10 to your computer. Update the drivers on your computer.
Step 3. Let’s unlock the bootloader. This WILL ERASE EVERYTHING on your Nexus 10, make a BACKUP before you DO THIS!!!
Open a command prompt or terminal and type:
cd Downloads
cd Nexus10Root
fastboot oem unlock
Y Luego esto:

fastboot -w update Nexus10-image-mantaray-jop40c-rooted.zip
Y ya la tengo OPERATIVA y Rootedada 100x100!
