Llevo siguiendo el tema en
http://forum.archosfans.com/viewforum.php?f=84 un tiempo y parece que los testers aún no están contentos con la beta. Si queréis seguir la evolución más en profundidad os recomiendo que os paséis por allí. Además os dejo un link directo a la beta 3, porque no estoy seguro de que sea esa la que se ofrece en la página francesa (he de decir que mi francés es muy básico y quizás me equivoque, en cuyo caso pido disculpas al creador del hilo)

Por último también os dejo las instrucciones de un miebro del equipo de programadores de Archos para solucionar el problema con el MediaCenter:
For all experiencing MediaCenter application force close, could you please try the following to see if it helps:
- Open the system settings.
- Open the "Apps" category in the left pane.
- Switch to "ALL" in the right pane.
- Scroll down the list to "Media Center" and click it.
- Hit "Force stop" and confirm the warning.
- Hit "Clear data", confirm the warning again.
- Hit the back button in the lower left screen corner.
- Find "Media Storage" in the same list of apps.
- Repeat the process of force stopping and clearing the data.
- Go to "Repair & formatting" in the left settings pane.
- Hit the "Reset multimedia library" item and confirm on the next screen.
After the device has rebooted the media library will rebuild the index of all media files.
This can take several minutes if the device has a lot of files.
