For your information, the xperia T is fully working, as Sony really helps the developers. Codeworkx can attest.
And the recent git patches are for exynos3, which is galaxy s first edition.
Xperia T took about 3 weeks of work in October to get CM10 quality beyond where I9300 is NOW after many months of work.
It's not just their use of Qualcomm chips with good reference source in CAF - for device-specific stuff, their devrel guys actually answer technical questions, provide technical assistance, and work closely with the engineers doing the actual device work.
Samsung's devrel contact, on the other hand, clearly is separate from the engineering teams, and unfortunately, many of them seem to treat our contact as an annoyance to be rid of as soon as possible. The end result is that when we ask questions, our devrel contact is told outright lies by whatever engineer they speak with, and management is 100% OK with this.
As a result our poor contact is stuck between a community who wants to see from Samsung what they see from other companies, and a corrupt organization who wants to do whatever the hell they want and
obviously wishes the Android opensource community would disappear.
