Creo que ya va siendo hora de poner aquí este fantástico kernel que, no solo sustituye al CF-Root, si no que le supera con creces en seguridad.
Es un kernel puramente stock, sin vitaminas, pero que tiene la doble seguridad del brickbug y del recovery (ya que lleva el CWM 6)

Diferencias entre el CF-Root y PhilZ:

-PhilZ-cwm 6 viene con CWM 6 que tiene mejoras como los backups incrementales y una interfaz "touch"
-PhilZ-cwm 6 usa ahora un cwm 6 "retocado" con muchos arreglos, principalmente el dual USB Mount
-PhilZ-cwm 6 tiene el kernel patcheado para deshabilitar MMC_CAP_ERASE : puedes hacer wipe/format seguro
-CWM 6 es nativamente seguro al brick haciendo wipe data incluso en con un kernel no patcheado
-Tanto CF-Root como PhilZ-cwm soportan init.d y customboot.sh
-ADB con acceso root se puede hacer desde el recovery
-PhilZ-cwm6 introduce un nuevo y original sistema que permite multi-bootanimations
-CF-Root está pre-rooteado y borrará cualquier custom busybox en el arranque
-PhilZ-cwm6 sin embargo viene completamente rooteado en un paquete zip que puede flashearse directamente desde el RECOVERY STOCK sin triángulo amarillo ni contador

-PhilZ-cwm6 viene nativamente con el último busybox 1.20.2, que forma parte completamente del cwm recovery (/sbin/busybox)

Hay muchas mas cosas a destacar de este kernel, pero mejor que lo veais en su hilo de XDA, así como las descargas de los diferentes kernels según la ROM que tengas.
