Paul (MoDaCo) dice que deja de hacer ROMs para Hero:
After a couple of weeks of madness, i'm ducking back out of the Android ROM scene!
I only really started messing with Android ROMs in order to get the forthcoming Hero update 'out there' and that has grown into a couple of versions for Hero, and messing with some Sapphire / Dream ports. It's pretty cool fun, but i'm leaving the ROMs alone for a while for a few reasons, firstly because the Hero ROM in particular is in a very good place right now, secondly because my Hero is going back to HTC (it's a PR demo unit) and thirdly because it's taking up way too much of my time and I have a really huge new commitment coming up (watch this space)!
- The MoDaCo Hero ROM is currently at version 2.2 in core and enhanced versions and I would consider it stable.
- The MoDaCo Sapphire ROM for 32B is also at version 2.2 in core form and is pretty sound. If I had more time i'd iron out a few bits and also get the enhanced version out. Hopefully another chef will pick up the mantle.
- The MoDaCo Dream ROM is in the same state as the above.
- The MoDaCo Sapphire ROM 32A port is currently not running and as I have no 32A device to test on, it seems a bit silly to carry on (unless a simple fix materialises).
As I say, I hope other chefs will start working on Hero especially, either on their own base, based on my ROMs or doing a 'clean' cupcake build.
Finally, i'm keeping my build environment on ice so in the event some major updates / advancements come along (e.g. another Hero ROM release) then i'll knock up a new MCR using that ROM... but for now, thanks everyone for you support!
Basicamente la traduccion dice que tiene que devolver el HTC Hero de prueba que le dejaron y no tiene tiempo para seguir... dice que la 2.2 es estable y espera que alguien continue el trabajo...
con lo que nos ha costado empezar... esto es un duro golpe...
