Hola, sigo investigando la forma de volver a situación segura en nuestros terminales.
En los foros de chekrom al parecer han tenido movidas con los admins y leomar ha declarado que no seguirá desarrollando checkrom para sgs2, por lo que el soporte que dan allí ya es bastante pobre y sin garantias...

En XDA he encontrado alguna posible solución:

Yes it would do the trick .

You can :

1. Flash a stock ROM that is built before July via ODIN ( from sammobile.com or androidfirmwares.net/ ) or you can use checkfusdownloader app to download your firmware (but if u use this app watch out to download a pre-july build) - I am currently using the one for Poland (GT-I9100 Poland 2012 May Android 4.0.3 I9100XXLPW I9100OXALPW )

2. And if you decide to flash a custom ROM than flash a safe Syiah/Chainfire/CyanogenMod KERNEL BEFORE flashing ROM through recovery

Creo que definitivamente voy a probar esto. Me da miedo porque no tengo exactamente claros los pasos seguros via ODIN, en principio creo que ODIN hace el wipe sin usar la flag problemática del kernel, por lo que los pasos que voy a seguir son esos...

1. DESCARGARME LA LPH (lo estoy haciendo ya, pero desde hotfile va lento), en el enlace http://hotfile.com/dl/146748985/8093...XXLPH.zip.html del post de htcmania: http://www.htcmania.com/showthread.php?t=356812
2. Hacer los pasos hasta el PASO 20 de dicho post, siguiendo las instrucciones de la sección: 3. INSTALACION/ACTUALIZACION DE LA STOCK FIRMWARE LIMPIA Y COMPLETA XWLPO + ROOT (Android 4.0.4) (SIN PROBLEMAS DE BRICKS)
3. Cuando llegue ahí, si todo va bien ya seguiré investigando a ver si puedo flashear un custom kernel con cwm recovery y meterle la rom que quiero, la hydra, el kernel que quiero usar para esto es el kernel de hydra4_r26 : http://www.htcmania.com/showthread.php?t=371058
4. A ver si alguien me puede confirmar que estos son los pasos correctos, porque estoy acongojado en este momento
