Bueno señores, me lo he currado bastante. He enviado un email directamente a estas direcciones: [email protected] ; [email protected] ; [email protected] ; [email protected] ;
[email protected]
El email es el siguiente:
Hi, I'm an HTC client from Spain. I've been loyal to the HTC brand since when the first HTC Wildfire came out.
I've bought a new HTC One S BLACK edition to my phone operator: Orange Spain.
I am totally aware of the chipping issue this Black edition suffers from. HTC has admitted the issue. You can check the following Link if you wish:
http://www.ubergizmo.com/2012/04/htc...hipping-issue
The problem is HTC is not offering a satisfactory (and fast enough) answer to these issues.
HTC is not keeping in touch with the local HTC divisions: for example: with HTC Spain and it's subcontracted "Arvato".
A lot of clients in Europe are being deceived because you give the following options:
1. They report the chipping issue to their phone operator --> Then the operator exchanges the phone by a new one, and the new phone ALSO has the chipping issue.
2. They report the chipping issue to their HTC repair service --> HTC tries to repair the product (changes it's case) and the new phone ALSO has the chipping issue.
3. This is even worse than "number 2 issue" --> The client sends the phone to HTC repair service. And HTC does not want to repair the phone for free, because they don't have an official statement from HTC about the issue and about what to do with it.
The issue is still NOT solved today: 4th June 2012.
What should HTC do if they want to be a top and recognized brand?
1. Get in touch with ALL the HTC divisions and phone operators offering a real solution to this issue.
2. Don't repair and don't exchange phones IF you have NOT solved the problem, because you are only making the problem worse: it's a loop.
3. Solve the manufacturing chipping issue (micro arc oxidation).
4. Until you solve it, manufacture more Grey-Blue editions, and offer to the clients, only if they wish, a replacement of the black defective units by a Grey-Blue edition.
5. IF the chipping issue can be repaired by now (at least in some cases) by the local HTC repair services, then get in touch with them and tell them this issue is covered by HTC warranty and it's free to the client.
Thanks for your attention, I really hope you answer this email, and you solve this issue. HTC reputation as a brand is at stake.
Edito: A ver si hay suerte y contestan. En tal caso, ya os pegaré aquí la contestación.
