creo que se confirma que quitan las particiones!!!!!!
esto es lo que pone un usuario de xda de australia que ha actualizado:
I did the update install last night...
The phone actually does two updates...
Since the XL has a internal storage (rom/fake sd) the update install
totally wiped both partitions. All my saved data was removed..
Wasn't impressed with that :-(
Had to use easeus data recovery program to recover my data...
