To fix the problem, you need to:
1) flash a recent ROM known to work (for example, ECR 1.0a)
2) make a backup copy of ft5x_ts.ko
3) replace the ft5x_ts.ko with the one from the attached archive
4) reboot the tablet (the touch screen should work fine after the reboot)
5) if it works fine, replace the patched ft5x_ts.ko back with the
original from backup
6) reboot the tablet again
P.S. The patched module will force flashing new firmware from /vendor/firmware/ft5206-1024X600.bin into the touch controller chip, so this file must exist.
P.P.S. Restoring the module from backup is necessary to avoid reflashing the touch controller chip after every boot.
