using samsung codecs
aac fails: dunno why. already spent countless hours on it.
the other problem: camera doesn't send any frames. dunno why.
i love black boxes... NOT!
using opensource codecs
needs opensource gralloc -> needs origen egl -> needs mali downgrade -> needs opensource hwcomposer -> needs opensource camera -> needs different mfc interface -> camera doesn't work at all, codecs don't work, bootanimation goes away, performance is bad.
worked 12 hours on it today and i'm sick of it.
can we hire additional devs somewhere?
need more manpower and much more freetime.
in short: i'm thinking about giving up.
